"What's that supposed to mean?!" Jennifer asked and she was afraid to hear the answer.

Liam didn't say anything as he also didn't know anything. He turned on the the TV to know what's happening.

Everything was a mess. People shouting, running here and there, inside of the hospital too the same scene, a reporter was shouting on top of his lungs, telling his viewers about what exactly went wrong.

To sum up the situation, Jenny went to her social accounts and she was right, People were dying in the hospitals. The public, always the naive ones are blaming doctors for so many deaths in every hospital.

The children, old people and even the young ones died. Jennifer's heart drops thinking about her patients. Her patients were getting better! The kids, old John and many more.

She saw everyone that day and all of them smiled at her with happiness. She didn't have the gut to search for her hospital news.

She felt some weight on her chest and she couldn't breath. She was trying to breath but it's like her mind and body was shut down.

She was about to fall but Liam was quick, he took her in his arms and hold her tightly. "Don't panic, everything will be okay just breath, Jenny."

Jenny tried but soon she was lost in unconsciousness. But her thoughts did not leave her. She saw the children in child ward crying and asking for help. She saw herself chained in front of them and she couldn't do anything. They were shouting in pain and slowly they were covered by black smoke and so was their voice.

Jenny got up, breathing heavily, her throat was as dry as sand. Soon she felt arms around her and she felt a rapid heartbeat. "Thank God, you woke up. I was worried sick."

Jenny to lean on him to seek warmth. She broke the hug and asked for water. Liam gave her a glass of water and she finished all of it in one go.

"Did you have any bad dream?" Liam asked and then she remembered about the dream and went tense.

"My patients!" She tried to get down from the bed but Liam stopped her.

"You are not going anywhere and your patients are fine."

"Patients died in every hospital!"

"Not in Marks. They are safe and sound."

Jenny sighed in relief and laid on the bed with a thud. "They are safe."

Liam laid beside her and hold her hand. Jenny genuinely felt very glad that she was not alone that time. She pondered about that situation and felt bad Liam was right.

" They actually attacked all the hospitals." She mumbled.

"We guessed but I didn't feel that they would actually do that."

"But why they left Marks?"

"Maybe they didn't. Maybe your hospital tackled it somehow."

"I hate it when they don't tell us anything." Jenny grumble.

"You didn't say about the dream."

"I just saw something that interpret the death of the children in child ward. I take care of them mostly."

"Of course. You were always good with the kids."

"I should go back to the hospital."

Before Liam could stop her, she got another text on her phone. "God, I am going to dread text messages for a while."

"It's okay. Your hospital gives therapy and you are a doctor so you might get it without any cost."

"Funny, Liam. Hospital is in locked down mode. No one can go inside or out of it until tomorrow 10am."

"Thank God. I don't have to stop you forcefully. You never were so attached to that hospital, what happened suddenly? Or is it just an excuse?"

"I thought I had a life outside the hospital. I had a boyfriend, secret happy love life. But then everything just vanished and that made me attached with my hospital duties."

Liam was silent, he was her whole world and he took it away. He knew it would do an impact on her but he didn't know it would be that much. He didn't want to do it either. She still held a very big part of his heart, literally the whole heart.

" You had your friends, your best friend." He said lowly.

"I couldn't get myself into spending time with her frequently. You see when I was so much in love and was busy, I literally ignored her. Only met once in a while. So after that I had time but I couldn't find it in myself to meet her because she also has her life. I can't just use her because I am alone after forgetting her when I had someone else."

"I am sorry. It's not your fault that you fall out of love. It happens, right?"

"I never fall out of love."

"What?"

"I said, I never fall out of love. I was just trying to protect you. I told you that time too but you were you, so stubborn. That's why I had to lie about falling out of love."

"Yeah, and what about kissing that girl?"

"You didn't believe me. I needed to do something drastic to make you believe that I am over you. Not only you but my enemies and after that they didn't follow you and didn't give any threat."

"But that day you realized that they actually didn't believe in your bullsh!t and tried to kidnap me so, you came back." Jenny said getting angry.

"Yeah.. It was stupid."

"I will never forgive you for kissing that girl. Even though I saw you pushing her away when you thought, I left."

"You saw that?" Liam asked shockingly.

"Yeah. I wanted to see how you handle it, you know kissing someone else. That showed how desperate you were to get away from me."

Jenny got up and turned on the TV. "God, these people started breaking things again! I don't get it why breaking things when anything goes down? Nothing can be fixed like that."

Jenny said changing the channels. Every news were same. She was getting emotional and seeing that, Liam snatched the remote and turned it off.

"I am hungry. You also didn't eat anything so, let's go and have dinner."

"I am not hungry."

"Really? A bowl of corn soup at lunch is enough for your whole day?"

"How the heck you know this things?"

"I have my eyes on you always."

"I was better in the hospital. Why even I agreed to meet her? I would have been a very valuable help in the hospital now."

"Yeah why did you? Because you were excited to meet her friend." Liam mocked.

"Excuse me! I did not. I straight out told him that I am not looking for a relationship."

"Why?"

"Because I am not ready to invest my emotions in another relationship. Don't assume that I am hoping for getting back with you because I am not."

"Even after knowing why I behaved like a stupid."

"Yes. I am totally not up for anything in this hospital mess."

Though out the dinner, Liam had a long face. Jenny finished her food fast and said,

"You should be happy that I said I ain't up for any relationship Now. That means you still have a chance."
