Third person's POV

"Adelaine." A man called out in a very deep voice, and everyone caught her attention.

This is not a shout, but a statement.

The woman named Adelayn turned around. When she turned around, people automatically glanced at her.

Adelayn is really different, as if the cycle of the world slows down when you see her.

Her shining eyes flashed, causing everyone around her to wake up.

The other girls have gone home, and Adelayn is on her way to their department's "Culinary Arts" course.

The atmosphere is like a quiet city that seems to have just ended a war.

They heard the blowing of the wind, and the people were still in the same position, overwhelmed by Adelayn's beauty.

Whenever Adelayn's name is mentioned, they are like disciples, and Adelayn is like a saint to be worshiped, a goddess to be looked up to.

In Adelayn's rotation, people think it's slow, especially the men who surround her. It was as if everything went into slow motion, and Adelayn slowly gave an innocent smile to the man in front of her.

"Why?" she asked the trembling man, his hand outstretched, holding a notebook.

Adelayn laughed and took it.

"Eduardo, you're late again." She laughed, shaking it while taking out the notebook and placing it on the pile of notebooks in her hand.

Not a single word came out of Eduardo's mouth.

Adelayn noticed that he was just staring at her.

She felt different and embarrassed by Eduardo's gaze.

That's why she woke him up, but Eduardo was still not in a trance when a hand grabbed the piled notebooks she was holding.

Adelayn jumped, causing the few notebooks she was holding that she was going to pass to their professor to fall. because she was assigned to collect it.

She was surprised because she did not know the man who grabbed it.

"I'm going to help you." was the cold attitude of the man.

Adelayn smiled and looked at Eduardo, who was walking away.

She looked at the man again.

"Nope, I am fine and it's embarrassing!" she answered and picked up another fallen notebook.

As she took the two pieces of notebook, a cold hand stopped her hand.

It was as if her hand was electrified when it touched her skin.

She turned around in surprise and her expression was shocked because she no longer knew this other man.

Two men are already in front of her.

The one who grabbed the notebooks she was holding was muscular, and the color of his white skin was just right compared to the man who suddenly reappeared on his right, who was muscular and dark.

Suddenly, the two men stared at each other.

"I insist," the two said at the same time.

Adelayn was confused while watching them. It looks like they are fourth-year students like her.

She doesn't know what to do with the people she meets because this is how she is treated. She couldn't say if it was natural at this university.

It's been three weeks since she moved here to North Paradise University, and right from the beginning, she couldn't understand why people looked like this.

It bothers her every single day.

When she moved here, she always received random gifts from unknown people, especially every morning when she opened her locker. Her locker, which was full of letters and gifts, exploded.

In addition to that, since her third day at this university, she felt bad, not because she felt any pain, but as if every day someone was secretly looking at her, someone was always watching and closely monitoring her.

It was as if she felt like she was being watched every minute. But she just ignored it because maybe she was just not used to it.

Because Adelayn grew up in a prestigious and rich family, she attended an all-girls private school. All her life she was confined to home and school, and sometimes she was home schooled because her father had leukemia and didn't know how normal classmates felt, mixing girls and boys. From elementary school to her third year of college, she was in a SCHOOL FOR GIRLS ONLY.

During her three years of college, her parents always enrolled her in a private school. Besides Adelayn being the only child, they only protect her from misfortune because sometimes she faints suddenly.

But by the time she was half way into her third year of college, she decided to tell her parents that she was going to transfer to a university because she wanted to experience what other people her age were doing. At first, her parents were not willing because she was not that good and every three months at the end of her check-up, no parent wants to be away from their child in this situation.

"What's going on here?" A shrill voice rang out, and people started walking, but others seemed to be at a loss as to which direction to go.

The woman adjusted her glasses and stared at Adelayn.

"Hi Ads!" She greeted her enthusiastically.

"Diana." She gave a forced smile to the woman, Diana, who seemed uncomfortable with the situation because of the two men.

Diana noticed the doubt in Adelayn's eyes and knew that she was uneasy about the situation.

Now Diana had a big smile and pulled Adelayn between the two men. She grabbed Adelayn's hand and gave the notebook to the white man.

"Thank you for your help." And the two smiled.

Adelayn was unable to turn around and drifted to Diana's tow.

Inside her, it was a great relief.

When they entered the classroom for their last subject, catering management and control system,

They have been waiting for class for thirty minutes, but their professor is still not there.

"Hey!"

Adelayn turned to Diana next to her.

"Are you going?" Diana asked.

Adelayn raised her eyebrows. After a while, she put down the book she was reading and sat down.

"What's that act?" Diana insisted flatly.

Adelayn stared at her and let out a deep breath after another.

"That's what I'm saying. Oh, it doesn't matter. " Diana sat at her desk.

It refers to their attendance at a mini concert held at another university. Diana will only go because her favorite band is there, but Adelayn?she has no interest in such things.

As usual, Adelayn was not allowed.

"The professor is not here yet?" One of their classmates asked

It's been 30 minutes! I have to go home! " Their vice president, who is quite a hero, shouted.

Adelayn sighed for the last time and rested her head on her hand on the table.

She noticed that she was getting sleepy, so she raised her head again so that she wouldn't fall asleep.

Her eyes wandered outside the window next to her, and she suddenly stood up out of nowhere.

Everyone looked at her and watched her in shock.

Diana calls her several times, but she is like a statue and very anxious.

She suddenly jumped in shock when her friend shook her.

"Are you alright?" Diana is very worried.

She didn't answer for a few seconds.

"Y-yeah."

Diana shook her head.

She sat her down, and the class gradually returned to its previous noise.

"You looked surprised? Tell me, what did you see?"

Diana's question made her turn. What did she mean? She asked in her mind.

"We saw you as if you saw something outside the window."

She didn't know what to answer.

"I was just shocked."

The friend laughed apologetically, "What am I dumb?" Diana said in disbelief that she didn't believe her.

"Where would you be surprised?"

"I saw a student. He looks familiar to me. But I'm not sure if it's him."

Diana snorted.

"Suuus! Your enemy, isn't it? " It pisses her off.

Adelayn just shrugged and smiled teasingly.

Later, it also convinced the friend.

The truth is that she is not sure.

Her heart was beating fast, and he felt fear deep inside.

But she couldn't be wrong about what she saw.

Especially when those eyes met hers.

The way that person stands in the field is as if the bulk of that person is familiar.

____________----__________

The noise in the class stopped and the others quickly sat down.

It was like a wave passed by, but eventually a human figure was seen opposite their door.

It only sees a shadow from the inside because it hasn't entered yet.

Everyone stared at each other. Adelayn is clueless and doesn't know who that person is.

"New Professor"

"Sir Mayanig is gone?"

A few shrugged their shoulders and started whispering as the person entered.

"Why?"

"Do not know." One of her classmates answered behind her.

When they finally got in, the students stopped and were stunned by a man who looked like a sculpture in a museum, wearing a black turtleneck long sleeved shirt and slacks, and wearing glasses.

"Are you sure he's the new professor?" Diana, who was shocked by the wonder,

Adelayn was also dumbfounded by the man who entered.

She couldn't explain what it was about this person, and his presence was so strong.

She also came to her senses because of the news.

She had a thought: a new professor?

She turned to talk to her friend when she saw her staring at what they called a professor.

Diana's eyes were wide open, and her mouth was slightly agape.

Adelayn grinned because her friend was one of those who was amazed at the person in front of them.

Yes, there's no denying that he's very handsome, but she doesn't feel the same way as all of her female classmates and Diana do.

She let it go and turned to face her again, but she was almost thrown back to where the new professor was staring at him.

Its face is clearer. Because of this, she boldly began to travel the entirety of the professor's face.

The first thing he noticed was his rather thin lips and the point on his nose. It's like she wants to touch them, so his eyes are that if he stares, only you will be claimed.

Adelayn stopped because of his grin. She frowned at him carefully if what she was seeing was right, but the professor suddenly turned his back.

I'm not mistaken in what I saw, she thought.

She sat up and wanted to shoot herself mentally.

She looked up again and began to listen to what the professor was saying.

"I'm Edward Cullen," the professor introduced himself coldly.

Everyone was surprised, and she was one of them. They stared at him flipping through the book, and eventually he laughed.

His jaw was shaped by those laughs!

"So sharp." she heard Diana whisper, focusing on the professor, causing her to shake her head.

Again, Adelayn felt something that could not be explained.

He has no mustache, so his face is clean.

She didn't intentionally lower her gaze on his shoulders, and only now did she notice the size of his body. The gentleman is very muscular and tall!

"I'm Demetrio Vergara," he introduced himself while staring at Adelayn with a mocking smile.

Only now did that look sink into Adelayn, and suddenly, when he smiled at her, her eyes widened.

Because of that, an inexplicable nervousness rose in Adelayn's chest.
