Chapter Thirty Three

Ryder POV:

As I sat and watched Lana, getting my name tattooed on her wrist below the black angel wings that had already been done, I couldn't help but smile and Marley's handy work.

Marley ran the local tattoo parlor that the club owned. It was a job he loved to do. He had been running the place since the day it opened a little over six years ago.

Kade and I had already had ours finished. Lana's name ran down my forearm in cursive writing, along with the logo underneath.

"Finished." Marley said before cleaning the ink off of Lana's wrist. The smile on her face never faltered as Marley did the tattoo. I'd never seen my girl so happy.

"I love it." She said, still staring at it. "Me, too." I replied.

I looked over to Sarah, who was now getting hers done on her hip.

The finished result of hers was the black angel wings with Kade's name wrapped around half of the wings.

Kade's tattoo on his bicep, showing proudly, had Sarah's name in red letters above his wings.

After ten years, I finally got my girl and I couldn't have been happier.

Lana POV:

The next morning, I woke up with Ryder by my side. Yesterday had been the best birthday I'd ever had. I finally had the man of my dreams and the way he asked me to be his old lady couldn't have been more perfect.

I walked into the bathroom and cleaned my fresh tattoo thoroughly and added lotion once I had it completely dry. I couldn't help but give it small glances once in a while.

"Morning." Ryder said as I walked back into the bedroom. "Hey." I said and climbed back into bed with him. "How'd you sleep?" He asked. "Great. Yesterday was so perfect. I never expected what you gave me." I replied.

Ryder smiled at me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Come on, you had to know it was coming." He laughed. "I mean, I did, but I didn't expect you to do it that way." I told him. "I'm glad your happy, baby. I love you." He said softly, giving me a kiss. "I love you, too." I replied.

Then next day, Sarah and I went back to class for the first day in almost two weeks.

"It feels weird being back here for some reason." I told Sarah. "We've been through a lot of shit, Lan." Sarah replied.

Sarah and I had been getting odd looks from the students. We had worn our property cuts around campus and people avoided us more than usual. Being a biker can be intimidating, even if they are two skinny women who don't look like much of a threat.

"I don't like the way everyone is staring at us." I said. "You brought you guitar, right?" Sarah asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Then play it. It always relaxes you." She told me.

I sat under our tree in the yard and began to strum the guitar, soon focusing on nothing but the melody as everyone around me faded.

"How we run, into the midnight sun,

Wheels go round and round, in my mind.

Restless hearts, sleep alone tonight.

Sending all my love along while.

They say that the road ain't no place to start a family.

Right down the line it's been you and me.

Lovin' a music man ain't all that it's supposed to be.

Oh girl, just stand by me.

I'm forever yours,

Faithfully."

By the time the song was finished, it was time to head to my last class.

As I put the guitar back in it's case, I saw a familiar figure step in front of me.

"Hey, Lan." I heard and looked up to meet his eyes. "Cole?" I asked. "What's with the jacket?" He asked with a smug smirk on his face. "What's it to ya?" I asked and crossed my arms. "Just curious." He told me. "Leave me along, Cole." I replied and walked away.

"You'll pay for what you've done!" He called out to me. What the hell does that mean?

I just wanted to get class the hell over with and back home to Ryder. I missed him like crazy and I didn't feel comfortable here right now. The only people Sarah and I had been around for the past few weeks were doctors and the club members. I liked it better that way. I hated the judgmental stares from the students here who thought they were better than we were. I honestly was starting to hate college all together. I had to stick it out, though. I only had a couple of more months until graduation.

After my last class, I went to meet Sarah out front but she wasn't there. What the hell? Where did she go?

I picked up the phone to call Ryder.

"Hey babe, what's up?" He asked.

"Did Sarah come home already? I was supposed to meet her and she wasn't out here." I replied.

"Are you sure she isn't just running behind?" Ryder asked, worry laced in his voice.

"Ryder I have a really bad feeling." I told him.

"I'll be right there, baby. Stay put. We'll find her. I promise." Ryder replied before hanging up the phone.
