He Loves Her?

Soo-Yun sighed and glanced at the doctor. "What did they say." she asked impatiently. Dr. Deff shook his head in disappointment. Soo-Yun nodded and smiled before heading out of his cabin. "How?" She whispered and stepped out of the hospital.

Jun-Sang rested his head back and rubbed his temple. It was an exhausting day for him after the yesterday’s night. The memories of the last night flashing back into his night. It felt like something bothering him like hell. Jun-Sang never experienced such things with Haneul. He closed his eyes and a small smile curved on his lips.

“Answer me. Am I ugly?” Soo-Yun asked again when she didn’t get her answer. Jun-Sang shook his head as no. She smiled and pulled him closer. The powerful smell of wine made Jun-Sang disgusted, but his world stopped and heartbeat fast as she leaned her face near to his. Soo-Yun's gaze landed on Jun-Sang's lips, and she looked into his eyes. Jun-Sang was not in the mood to utter a word. Maybe he also wanted the same. His eyes widened as Soo-Yun placed her lips on his. A soft movement of her plump lips took his heartbeat away. Jun-Sang closed his eyes and warped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer before reposing the kiss. Jun-Sang tilted his head as he deepened the kiss. They were so lost in their first kiss, they didn't want to end the moment. Suddenly, the lack of the air made them break the kiss. Soo-Yun attached her forehead to Jun-Sang, catching their breath. Jun-Sang caressed her cheek and suddenly reality hit him, taking him down to the earth. He regretted the guilt visible all over his face. He thought about Joon Haneul. “Did I just cheat on her with my wife?” He closed his eyes, lost in his own world. “I miss you.” Soo-Yun whispered and put her head on Jun-Sang's shoulder. He shook his head and took her into her room.

Jun-Sang opened his eyes. He was restless because what happened last night kept bothering him. One question on his mind. “Did Soo-Yun mean it, or was it because of the drink?” He slammed his hand on the table. A knock on the door caught his attention. Jun-Sang permitted the person on the other side. “Mr. Jang, someone wants to meet you." A lady with brown hair said he nodded into the response. She smiled and bowed before letting the person in. Jun-Sang's eyes widened in shock as Haneul entered his office. “You?” He asked calmly, causing Haneul to burst into tears. His eyes softened because he couldn't see her cry. Jun-Sang immediately rushed to her and made her sit on the couch. He poured water into the glass and passed her. Haneul smiled and took the glass before drinking water. Jun-Sang sat in front of her, maintaining his distance. “Why are you so far away from me?” Haneul's question pushed Jun-Sang's anger button. He somehow calmed himself. “I am well here. Tell me, what brought you here?” He said coldly as his gaze turned dark.

Soo-Yun came out of her office. She narrowed her eyes when she saw an unexpected person. “Sang-Woon?” she whispered under her breath. Sang-Woon stood in front of her with a big grin. “Hey, How are you doing?” He greeted and Soo-Yun pressed her lips into a thin line. “I am fine.” Sang-Woon nodded his head. “I am in a big hurry. See you again. I need to meet someone.” She left him alone once again. Sang-Woon chuckled sadly. “Why are you doing this to me?” A tear rolled down from his eyes.

Soo-Yun was waiting for Dr. Haneul and Dr. Geun. It’d been two hours since they were busy with an extensive surgery. After a few moments, Dr. Geun came out of the I.C.U. She stepped towards her cabin as someone informed her about Soo-Yun. Soo-Yun stood in respect as Dr. Geun entered the cabin. She bowed to her, Dr. Geun bowed in response and signed her to take a seat. “So Leon Soo-Yun, what brought you here?” Soo-Yun smiled before speaking. “I am here because you and Dr. Haneul was my dad’s surgeon.” Dr. Geun nodded. “Yes, we were.” “I want to know what exactly happened to my father.” Soo-Yun's eyes welled up with tears as these words came out of her mouth. “He got some injuries in his brain. Someone hit him with some kind of iron rods. He also had burns on his body. It also shocked us that it was not a car accident. I asked the man who brought him here what happened to him but he said that car accident. I was also shocked he was a friend of the patient, but was behaving something weird.” Dr. Geun shook her head as the incident came back to her mind. “And he also requested us not to tell that to the family of the patient.” Dr. Geun added that as well. “Do you have any record of my father’s report?” Dr. Geun shook her head in disappointment. “Unfortunately, today the record room burned into the fire. We have nothing to help you right now, but I can tell you about the person's name who brought your father here.

Soo-Yun sat in her car with a piece of paper in her hand. Tears filled in her eyes she glanced at the paper and sighed. “Why did you do that?” words escaped out of her mouth in hard sobbed. She started the car and drove away. After a long drive, she stopped the car in front of the graveyard. She got out of the car and entered the graveyard. Soo-Yun fell to the ground in front of her father’s grave. “Dad, I want justice for you.” She cried her heart out and wiped her tears away as she felt some kind of peace. “I love you.” She whispered and was about to go back but stopped as her eyes landed on the bracelet which was on the ground. She bent down and took it in her hand. Her eyes widened when she saw the name on it. “Jang. Se-Hun.” Soo-Yun narrowed her eyes and sighed after putting it in her jacket pocket.

Jun-Sang stopped his car as he reached home after a stressful day. He got out of the car and made his way to the entrance. A sigh escaped out of his mouth as his eyes landed on an unwanted person in the house. Mr. Mrs. Jang was waiting for them. Jun-Sang walked to them and shared a warm hug with his mother, totally ignoring his father. “Are you okay?” Mrs. Jang asked worriedly. Jun-Sang nodded his head. “I’ll be.” His mother nodded, and he went to freshen up. Soo-Yun entered the house with a numb body. She forced herself to smile when her eyes met Mrs. Jang. Mrs. Jang hugged her, making her frown. “Go and fresh up.” Soo-Yun nodded a little and went upstairs.

Jun-Sang glanced at Soo-Yun as he saw her lost coming upstairs. He didn’t say a word and rushed down to the living room. “So you are not taking care of your wife?” Mr. Jang said mockingly. “None of your business.” Jun-Sang replied quickly. “Jun-Sang?” He glared at her mother, making her stop. “So, you didn’t move on, didn’t you?” Mr. Jang said coldly. “YES, I LOVE HER AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER. I DON’T CARE ABOUT THIS MARRIAGE.” Jun-Sang screamed out of frustration. “Jun-Sang.” His mother tried to hold his hand. “Go, before I lose my temper.” He warned them, causing them to back away. Mr. Jang left the house angrily and Mrs. Jang followed him.

“So, He loves her.” Soo-Yun smiled sadly and went back to her room once again with a broken heart.
