ONE NIGHT OF PLEASURE

1- Finally, I met the one.

Ellery's POV

IT WAS one wet afternoon. The day was gloomy; the sky was dark that the sun forgets its duty to light us up. I get on the bus as soon as it stopped in front of me. I need to hurry up, or I'll end up standing on the whole trip. I don't mind if I bumped into other passengers as long as I reached my goal—to sit beside the window. I love watching the scene out there, even if it was the same scene I saw in my four years in college. Yes, I made it to the final year. Who would have thought I'll make it up to here? Everybody said I'll get myself pregnant before I graduated from college. But look at me now. In two months, time, I'll be wearing my graduation gown.

I smiled to myself while painting smirks to my thin pinkish-red lips. Finally, I got the spot I am aiming for.

"Eat up your shits! Because I swear, I'll graduate with flying colors." I told myself while taking the seat. It's for two. But I don't mind who will sit beside me as long as the sweet spot is mine.

"I don't eat shits. Do I really look like sluttish to you?"

I turned around in shock. Gosh! Did I speak up my mind?

But what shocked me more is the face I saw the moment I turned around. That's the face every woman of my age would droll over. Those drops of rainwater that glitter all over his face just suits his handsomeness better. And no... He wasn't sluttish. Who would dare say that to this handsome guy who was about to... Take the seat beside me?

OMO!

"May I?" He asked. His lips, pointing the space beside me.

I gathered myself altogether. I shouldn't act silly while gawking over him. Isn't it too obvious that I am fascinated by him?

"But of course! It's not as if this bus is mine." I answered, making it sound like I don't care. And that I wasn't fascinated by his handsomeness, nor felt grateful to be his passenger mate.

That was a total contrast... Who wouldn't want to share seats with him? He smells excellent with his soft masculine perfume, mixed with his natural body scent. Altogether with a face like that. For a second, I asked myself if this guy was real. He is way near to perfection.

Oh, wait! I should stop praising him. I should stop right now. I decided to face the window for me to look at the view outside.

Same old…

But it didn't help. My traitor mind and senses just turn their backs on me. I can't believe that I started to assess every inch of this guy as the bus began to move. The guy was messing his hair up as if he was trying to unload those droplets of water, which luckily kissed his raven black hair. And to my surprised, he stopped and turned to me, wearing that heart-stopping smirk. He must realize I am watching him.

"Did I pass?" He smiled, his oh-so-gorgeous smile. What a guy!

"With flying colors..." I answered, riding with his old joke.

His smile became laughter that seems to melt my bones. What did I do to deserve this great moment, meeting someone as gorgeous as him?

His name is Luke, short for Lucas. According to him, he doesn't like his real name that much. It sounds ancient to him. But I disagree. The moment I saw him, I knew I would love everything about him.

That was the first time I didn't watch the outside's view while sitting beside the window. I enjoyed smiling and laughing together with him.

He mentioned that he had his own car, but it broke upon going home. He just left it somewhere near where it broke and decided to took a bus as he went home. I should say it's in favor of me that his car broke. Because if it did not happen, I should not get the chance to meet and talk to him.

We chat a lot until we came to the point that I needed to get off the bus. But before that...

"May I have your number?" Handing me his phone.

At first, I doubted to give in. I mean, I never gave my number to somebody I just met. I don't know what happened to me that I suddenly grab his phone and dial my number. It rings mine before I get off the bus. Maybe, at some point, my mind told me, it's not every day that I will meet someone like him. Why not grab the opportunity?

The computer generation made it easy for us to get in touch. I found out that he is a graphic artist of a small gaming company in Quezon City. He just graduated last year and got the job before getting his diploma. In short, he was good at what is he doing. If not, he couldn’t get the job before graduating. I also found out that he is the second son of the old Matteo Suarez of Suarez Group of Companies. But his heart and mind were not in the company. He studied Commerce, but in his second year, he decided to shift to another course. Since he was not the assumed heir, he was not forced to enter the company. He just decided to pursue his own dream and leave the side of the Suarez family. And I admired him that he chooses to live a simple and ordinary life even though he can live in luxury while he was beside his family. He said he prefers his freedom and happiness. What is he going to do with the money if he was not happy?

We became friends as the days, weeks, and even months went by. He was there on my graduation day and even brought me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. I was so glad to see him on this important day of my life!
