Chapter 15 Love Hurts(2)

Ding Rongrong sat in the back seat of the taxi, absent-minded.

Du Xiping was once such an intimate name, but when she heardher mother mention it on the phone, she was stunned for a moment.

A year and a half ago, she witnessed Du Xiping being pushed away by several security guards of the hotel in Jinhua New World. After that, she never saw him again.

Ding Rongrong still had a fantasy when she first returned home. She felt that she was drunk and lost to an unfamiliar man, which must have dealt a great blow to Du Xiping. He needed a period of time to calm down.

And her two years of love with Du Xiping could not be easily cut off. Perhaps after Du Xiping calmed down, he would come to D City to look for her.

However, even until she found out that she was pregnant with Ding Dang, she still did not wait for Du Xiping returning back.

One of her schoolfellows told her about Du Xiping. Originally, in order to accompany Ding Rongrong through her graduate studies, Du Xiping applied for a job in H City, where the university was located. However, after Ding Rongrong left school, Du Xiping also left H City and went home to his father's clothing company. He could be considered to have inherited his family business.

Ding Rongrong decided to give birth to Ding Dang, which had a lot to do with Du Xiping's disappearance. If Du Xiping had forgiven her back then, even if it was just a phone call, she would still care about his feelings and consider carefully whether to keep the child of this strange man in her stomach or not.

Of course, at that time, Little Ding Dang was only a cell in her stomach. If it was now, it would be fine to take her life, but it would definitely intolerant if Little Ding Dang was hurt.

And the fate between her and Du Xiping was always like this.

When she totally fell in love with him and was about to offer herself up, she entered Ming Junmo's room by mistake.

When she patiently waited for him to forgive her, he did not appear. Now that she had a son, he came to D City to look for her.

Ding Rongrong carried an inexplicable complex emotion as she arrived at her mother's small vegetarian restaurant on Backview Street.

When she got out of the taxi, she saw Du Xiping standing on the stairs outside the restaurant. He was still tall and sturdy, with broad shoulders, a gentle face, a refreshing plaid shirt and jeans.

He saw her and was a little nervous. He put his hands into his pockets and took them out again.

Then, he came up and smiled awkwardly. He pointed at Ding Rongrong and said awkwardly, "I almost couldn't recognize you dressed like this."

"Why are you standing outside? Have you eaten yet? Have Uncle Fatty cooked you an strange-smelling eggplant? …" Ding Rongrong felt a little uncomfortable and carried the sheepskin cube behind her back.

Du Xiping was instantly moved, "Do you still remember that I like to eat strange-smelling eggplant? I … I just came out to wait for you I have something to say to you."

Ding Rongrong did not expect that the first time she and Du Xi Ping met after that incident would be so calm, as if they had only met yesterday and hadn't lost contact for a year and a half.

She looked into the restaurant and saw her mom standing in the door, nodding at her, as if indicating for her to have a good talk with Du Xiping.

She pointed at Ah Su Dessert and said, "Let's go sit there. I'll treat you to red bean shaved ice."

"You haven't eaten yet, have you? It's not good to eat shaved ice on an empty stomach. Is there any other delicious dessert?" Du Xiping said naturally as he walked across the street.

Ding Rongrong's nose was a little sour. She sniffed, followed behind Du Xi Ping and went into Ah Su's Dessert.

The two of them sat down in a secluded corner. Du Xiping ordered two desserts and two cups of coffee. After the waiter left, he looked at Ding Rongrong.

"Rongrong, I opened a design studio in D City and will work here in the future. I... I'm here for you. I can't forget you."

Ding Rongrong only felt her temples jump twice and then a slight headache, "Xi Ping … you should have seen my son …"
