CHAPTER 6: Chin Hwa Academy’s Class E (Part 1)

“MR. CHA, I TOLD YOU I CAN JUST DRIVE our way here,” Hae Soo said begrudgingly and heaved a sigh. Min Ah was beside her fixing her bangs and her wavy long hair after putting some liptint on her lips as well as fixing her necktie. She bet the latter is more excited to enter the new school than she does. She even cut her hair to make a bangs to look cute like that member of some cutesy Kpop girl groups.

Albeit she’s still in New York studying at Nightingale, her mother managed to secretly pull out her school records and other papers just to enroll her in an exclusive elite school.

Great, just great.

“Sajangnim told me that you’re a reckless driver, agassi. And she just want me to drive you to your new school and make sure you’re going there happily,” he grinned.

“Gee… thanks for the ride, *ahjussi. You know, if she really wants me to go to school happily, she should at least drive me than ordering someone to drive for me,” she said begrudgingly as she went out from the car and closed the door with a loud thud.

“I’m sorry about it, ahjussi,” Min Ah managed to apologize to her aunt’s secretary who only smiled at her as a response. She, then, went out of the car to follow Hae Soo.

“Enjoy your day, girls!” he waved from the open car window.

Min Ah grinned at him and waved. “*Kamsahamnida, ahjussi! Josimhaeyo!” (*Thank you, mister! Take care!)

Hae Soo’s eyes followed the car. A memory suddenly flashed in her mind which made her eyes squint while following the car that’s slowly fading out of her sight.

She felt Min Ah nudging her side using her elbow which made her look at her cousin. “What?

“Face it,” she responded. Hae Soo turned to face what Min Ah is talking about and followed where her cousin’s eyes were fixed and she couldn’t help but gasp silently.

Damn, she never thought a school like this is existing here. It doesn’t look like one.

“Are we lost?” Min Ah asked. “We’re not in England, right? How the freak is Buckingham Palace doing here? Damn, this school is really unexpected.

Yeah, this school is way better than Hae Soo expected. “I think we better get inside. It’s not a good impression if we’re neophytes here and we’re late.

“Oh, right. Right,” Min Ah nodded as she clapped like an excited kid who was about to open her Christmas present. “We better get inside! I’m so excited to see what’s inside our new school!

Hae Soo only shook her head and sighed in response as she followed her childish of a cousin who’s happily skipping.

Expensive is an understatement to describe Chin Hwa Academy.

Hae Soo could sense the opulence and extravagance of the students residing on this place by just looking at the exterior design and landscape of the school. This school is way better than she expected.

“Where the heck is their senior high building?” she asked in a grumpy tone as she gripped on the sling of her Prada Tessuto Saffiano bag while Min Ah is looking at the school brochure as if it’s Dora the Explorer’s effin’ map.

“Let’s ask some of the students here! Who knows, we could gain a companion or a friend here!” Hae Soo’s lips pursed into thin line before scoffing and lazily followed her cousin.

It seemed like her cousin spotted someone that can talk to her. Min Ah walked towards that person while pulling Hae Soo with her. “Hello!

The girl looked at them while fixing her ridiculously huge spectacles. Hae Soo’s eyes settled on the girl’s hair and she couldn’t help but frown.

‘I’m not being judgmental or what but she looked like she got electrocuted because of her hair? Isn’t she aware of the word ‘grooming’?

She bowed slightly at them. “He-Hello.

“I’m Lee Min Ah and this is my cousin,” she slightly tapped Hae Soo’s arm. “Lee Hae Soo. We just transferred here today and we have no idea where’s the Senior High School building. Can you lead us the way there?

“O-Oh, y-yes. I-I was about to go there too,” the girl answered shyly.

Min Ah squealed at her response. “That’s great! I’m in Grade 12 Class A.

“We-We’re classmates, I see,” Min Ah’s smile widen after hearing the girl’s answer.

“Woah, really? That is superb great! We can go there together!” she clapped like an excited kid, making Hae Soo rolled her eyes because of her childish antics towards the girl

‘Oh gosh, I’m out of place,’ Hae Soo thought.

“What’s your name?” Min Ah asked enthusiastically.

“Y-Yoon So Hee,” the girl answered.

“Oh my gosh, your name is so pretty and we’re classmates too! I’m so happy!

“Good for you two because you’re in the same class.

“Aw, why so salty, Lee Hae Soo? Are you jealous?

“Heck, no.

“Aigoo~” Min Ah hugged Hae Soo tightly, making the latter shook herself to break free.

“Ugh , stop it Lee Min Ah! Let me go!

“W-What’s your class, by the way? M-Maybe I could take you there too,” the girl named Yoon So Hee offered.

“Oh, oh, that’s a great idea, So Hee-yah!” Min Ah grinned at her.

Hae Soo took a glance on the paper she’s holding before looking at So Hee again. “I’m in Grade 12 Class E.

So Hee suddenly gasped which made the two cousin stop and look at her. “W-What? C-Class E? A-Are you sure you’re in Class E?

“Uh, yes…” Hae Soo muttered.

So Hee gasped once again, making the cousins blink in confusion. “You’ve got to be kidding me.

“You know what, girl, I don’t know why you look so terrified when I mentioned that section but could you please lead the way? I’m already exhausted as fuck,” Hae Soo let out an exasperated sigh before walking ahead.

Min Ah looked at So Hee who’s already fidgeting while looking back at the former.

“You have no idea what kind of class is Grade 12 Class E.

“Why?” Min Ah frowned as she faced So Hee. “What about that class?

So Hee took a deep breath and looked at her. “Well, the thing is…”

“Finally, I found this classroom,” Hae Soo took a deep breath while looking at the classroom’s door. She looked around the lobby and slightly frowned. “I wonder why this classroom is so far from the others. This literally looked isolated.

“Hmm, I think it’s a good idea though. Few neighboring classroom, less noise,” she once again looked at the paper she’s holding before looking at the door. She slightly raised her shoulder and took a deep breath once again before opening the room’s door, flaunting her resting bitch face.

As soon as she opened the door, her resting bitch face was totally wiped out her face when she saw who are inside the classroom.

Her eyes looked to the left. Boys.

Her eyes looked to the right. Boys.

Her eyes settled in front. Boys.

‘Am I in the right classroom?

She’s sure as fucking hell that she read the class on top of the classroom’s door.

12-E.

“Hey…” someone tapped his classmate’s arm and motioned him to look at the door.

“It’s a girl.

“Yes, I can see that.

“It’s a girl—”

“What the fuck is a girl doing here?!

Her eyes widen like saucers in utter surprise.

‘Why the fuck is this classroom full of boys?!
