CHAPTER 5: HIS PROPOSAL

After we ate our snacks, we immediately head towards where I left the guy earlier. As we arrived we saw that he is still there waiting inside his car, the moment they saw us he immediately head outside his car.

“Hi sir, sorry for waiting.” I said as we went near him

“No worries, by the way, did you ate already?” He said

“Ah yes sir, that’s why we took a lot of time before went here.” I said

“Okay, so I guess let’s go?” He said. I just nod at him then we started walking again. While on our way no one is speaking, we were like getting used to each other. As we arrived at some Japanese restaurant nearby.

“What do you want to eat?” He said as we enter in some V.I.P. room

“Ahm none sir, were just here to hear you out.” I said but he is acting as if he didn’t heard what I said. Geeze! He creeps me out so much. After he ordered our food or more like a feast, he started talking about his proposal.

“Well, you remember how I acted earlier right?” He said

“Yes, and you told us that you are suffering from ‘Stendhal syndrome’?” I said and he just nod

“Unfortunately yes, and I am trying to cure this.” He said

“And you think that I can cure your illness?” I asked

“Well not literally cure but you can calm me down in a short period of time.” He said

“So what are you trying to say here?” I said

“That I am asking you if you can work for me. I have my own travel agency and I can hire you as my personal assistant.” He said

“Ahm, thanks but no thanks sir, I am happy with my work now.” I said

“I can increase your salary if you want, just work for me.” He said

“Like I said sir, no thanks sir so if you’ll excuse us.” I said then stand up from my seat. We are about to leave when hid bodyguards cover the front door.

“You cannot leave unless you accepted my offer.” He said while grinning

“Sir I rejected your offer already and my decision is final, so please sir we need to leave.” I said while forcing to get outside but as expected to his bodyguard they are so strong.

“Argh! Come on we need to leave!” I shouted at them but it’s like they were stones.

“Come here Ms. Kimora.” He said but I didn’t responded I am trying my best to get outside. Winter is doing the same thing and trying his best, until we heard that someone is knocking from outside.

“If I am right, the one that is knocking outside are the servants in this restaurant the moment the door opens, we will run as fast as we can, okay?” He whispered, I just nod at him and walks backwards. While waiting for the door to open, Winter holds my hand, and whispered to me that when he pressed my hand that will be the moment we will run. After a seconds of waiting we heard the sound of the door, and the bodyguards are opening it, when we are sure that the door is open widely, Winter pressed my hands and with that we run as fast as we can. We heard that the weird guy shouted to his bodyguards to stop us, so we run faster and faster until we didn’t heard the shouting of the guards. We stopped running in an isolated street to catch our breath, when we are sure that we’ve lost them, we sit on the floor and still catching our breath.

“Ha ha ha ha, oh my god!” Winter said while laughing out loud. While watching him laughing I can’t help but to laugh also.

“Did you their faces Kimora? Oh my that was so priceless!” He said laughing so hard while holding his tummy.

“I know!” I said and we laughed our hearts out for a few minutes in that street.

“By the way thank you Winter.” I said when we calmed down from too much laughing. He looked at me then smile.

“You are always welcome Kimora, you know I am really glad that I came with you.” He said

“Yeah, me too thank you for tagging along, if you weren’t there maybe I accepted his offer just to get out.” I said

“Well you know, I am really nervous earlier because of the bodyguards, but when I looked at you I suddenly got the courage to face it.” He said and that made me happy.

“And you know, when he said that he wants you to work under his company and leave your current job I was really angry at that time but I just controlled it.” He said then looked at me

“Why you got angry on what he said?” I asked

“Well, I know how much you love painting and of course the art gallery, and I also knew that the salary we have there is not that big, but I knew within that art gallery you found your happiness and it kind of pissed me off when he said that he will increase your salary just to work for him. I felt like he is mocking your current job.” He said. I don’t know what to say, my heart melts for him on what he said. I can feel the sincerity thru his voice and it really touches my heart.

“Winter!” I said then he looked at me. I gave her my sweetest smile then kissed him on his cheeks.

“Thank you so much!” I said. He looked so surprised on what I did and suddenly his face turns red.

“You’re blushing!” I teased him while laughing. He is trying to hide his face and that made him so cute.

“Of course I will! You know how I felt for you then you suddenly.” He said

“Ha ha ha ha ha, oh my god! You look so cute Winter.” I said while laughing. He is still hiding his face while I continue on teasing him. I just stopped laughing when he suddenly pull me and gave me a tight hug.

“Can we stay like this for a moment?” He said. I just nod at him and hugged him back. I really love how Winter embraces me you can feel the his warmth that made me so comfortable. After a few minutes he unclasped the hug then he looked at me, a serious one.

“Kimora you always let your guard down.” He said that made so curious.

“What do you mean?” I asked him

“Well, you know that I like you.” He said

“So?” I said

“What if I do something to you? Like harass you sexually.” He said then stands up, I also stand up from the floor then holds his hand. He looked at my eyes while I am smiling at him.

“I know you can’t do that to me.” I said

“But what if I can?” He asked

“Well, if you can do it then you have done it a long time ago. You have a lot of chances before, like when we sleep together when we are finishing our project, right?” I said then smiles at him.

“Hey Kimora, can I ask you again about your decision?” He asked, I know what he is talking about.

“Let’s give it a try Winter.” I said, and with that his eyes suddenly widen as if he didn’t believe what I said.

“You mean?” He said. I just nod at him and with that he suddenly hug me so tight and lift me from the ground.

“You don’t know how happy I am.” He said

“Me too.” I said. This day might be full of trouble but in the end we managed to be happy on each other arms.
