Chapter 2

For the rest of the day I only saw Max twice, In the teacher's lounge with Ms. Samuels, and five minutes ago with Ms Samuels. If I didn't know then I would think he was her son...

I was currently sitting at my table.

Yes, my table with the rest if the football team. We're known as jocks as well. I'm a popular guy. I am now begging Trent to help me get Ms Samuels away from Max.

"Okay! I'll help." He sighed.

"Thank you, bro."

"Okay, so, the day is almost done, so it'll have to be tomorrow."

Before I could say anything he continued.

"I'll get Ms. Samuels out of English class tomorrow and you'll talk to Max there, he's cute by the way."

I glared at Trent, then smiled.

"Have I ever told you that I love you?"

"Yes, whenever I help you."he sighed.

After lunch we went over to the field and changed on the bleachers, I turned and my eyes landed on one of my ex, he was glaring at me, but then

it turned into a smile and he waved. I gave him one of my famous smile and waved back. Even when he hates me he loves me. What can I say? I'm a lovable person...and sexy.

"Keep telling your self that." Trent smirked. Mind reader.

When school was over I head out to my SUV. Unlocking it from afar I opened the door and got in, sitting there for a minute before I heard Ms. Samuels voice call Max's name. I saw, Max coming out of the garden and I mentally smacked myself. How did I miss seeing him there? I could be talking to him right now and become friends.

He fixed his glasses and pulled the hood over his head before he approached Ms. Samuels who held his hand and led him in the school. I sighed and started my car, driving out of the parking lot and towards my house.

When I got there I open the door and was hit with silence.

"PAPA!" My voice echoed off the walls and in less than a second Papa came running in the room and gripping my shoulders.

"What? What?"

"Hi?" I beamed. He scowled and hit me in the back of my head.

Papa was a funny guy, always laughing, him and my dad are madly in love with each other. You should hear them at nights. Papa has short brown hair cut like mine, icy blue eyes and deep dimples like dad's.

"Don't scare me like that I'm not too young to have a heart attack." He said and sat down on the large leather couch.

"I thought I was alone, why aren't you at work?" I asked.

"Day off, where's your dad?"

"School."

"Want to help me with dinner? You can tell me all about your crush."

I looked at my dad smirking with side eyes. How...

"I know my son and your different types of smiles, you have a crush."

I smiled and shook my head.

$$$$$

Walking down the hall I wink at squealing girls. Seriously, the whole school knows I'm gay, yet I've got even taken girls like this. I open my locker and looked in the small mirror, winking and smiling at myself.

"Yes, the whole world knows you're handsome, Jace." I heard Trent's voice.

I closed my locker and, indeed, he was there, leaning against his locker with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, but I still like to look at myself."

He shook his head as the bell rang. We walked to our first class, English and stopped at the door. Trent said that he would sit beside Max first so

Ms. Samuels doesn't get suspicious. I agreed and opened the door.

Max was sitting in the corner at the front, taking off his glasses, he place it on his book. I couldn't see his face. I had a sideway view. Ms. Samuels was writing on the board and I smirked an went over to her.

"Good morning Ms. Samuels. How are you today?" She rolled her eyes.

"You are so annoying, Jace, if I can just get you in a room alone, trust me."

"Sorry, I'm gay but good effort." I flicked her nose and smiled at her horrified expression before sitting beside Trent.

I couldn't help but look over at Max, taking in his features from the side, his blonde hair covers most of his face, his skin was pale but his cheeks were pink, his lips were pink and I silently wished he'd lick them. Oh my god.

"If you keep staring like that either Ms. Samuels or Max, himself, will see you." Trent whispered and I blushed.

Ms. Samuels finishing writing and put down her marker turning to us smiling.

"Okay class, we are 15 minutes late in class so just take the notes off the board and I'll expl-"

Her phone started ringing and held her index finger up telling us one minute before answering it.

"Hello...yes... oh now...okay two minutes." She hung up the phone.

"Class, I'm sorry. I've been called down to the principal's office, take the notes off the board and I'll be back soon."

As soon as she closed the door everyone went into their small groups and the chatting began. Trent nod to me telling me to get up and we switch seats. I sat down beside Max and he shift in his seat. His hair was still blocking most his face.

"Hi Max." I said in a soft voice.

"H-hi." He said in a low voice I hardly heard it.

"You know, I'm Jace..." He nods.

"Well, since you're new I was wondering if we could be friends, if its not a problem."

"Ms. Samuels said I shouldn't talk to you."

Well, how rude of her...

"Trust me, I'm not that bad I just want to be friends...and maybe even more." I whispered huskily and touched his arm. I am such a flirt.

He turn his head to the wall, if he was blushing but I couldn't see. I use my hand to lift his chin and turn his face toward me, brushing his hair from his eyes and must I say.

WOW.

His eyes are beautiful. As clear as crystal and a  chocolate brown, sparkling too. I found my self staring in his eyes before he turn his head away again.

"You shouldn't hide behind your hair like that. You have beautiful eyes." He look at me again and a smile tug at the corner of his lips but he bit on his bottom lip.

"Max, I would like to be fri-".

"Okay class I'm back is everyone finish?"

Damn you Ms. Samuels...
