Presenting Chapters 2-4

Kevin had to cope with being Bi-polar.

He often struggled with this disorder.

He was unaware he had any real problems or maybe he was in denial.

He had changes in moods.

There were times he was extremely annoyed then happy immediately.

There were times when he slept excessively.

His mom tried to call him no answer.

His girlfriend Elise at the time could not reach him.

Kevin's father Mark suffered from this same disorder but could not find a way to help his son.

They both took medication but side effects did occur.

Kevin would move slowly sometimes.

Kevin's father would become restless when he took his medication.

Kevin tossed and turned.

He thought about texting Miranda this afternoon.

His father was arguing with his mother Renee about something.

He could not hear but he heard yelling.

This would not help him sleep.

He pulled out his phone and called Miranda.

He alienated a lot of friends.

Matters of The Brain

Ring ! Ring!

Kevin looked at the caller id.

"Nigga why you hit me over some bitch?". Tyler yelled

"She ain't that nigga". Kevin said

"I beat yo' ass again" Kevin yelled

"Bet" Tyler said then the phone hung up.

Kevin thought about Tyler causing him more trouble and knew he would handle him if the time came.

He went back to working out.

Miranda was at home and she thought about her disgust with Tyler and her uncertainty about Kevin.

She fell asleep after letting her thoughts wonder.

Rose’s boyfriend Marco kept cheating on her.

He left his phone and an unknown number popped with a message from a woman named Jane.

Twisted Faces Flashback

Kevin thought about his time with Elise.

It had been a year since they were together and she refused to talk to him.

He did care about her and he thought about the good times.

He was a caring and sweet guy who loved Elise’s company.

They went out and would go to nice dinners and bars.

Sometimes he could control his temper and jealousy. Other times the disorder ran rampant.

The waiter came and put down the drinks.

He looked at Elise and smiled.

"What would you like?" He asked

Elise went to answer but Kevin flipped out.

"Stop fucking looking at my girl". He said

"Just calm down" Elise said

"Naw go away I need a new waiter". Kevin said

"Bring back a woman" He said

Elise rolled her eyes for him getting loud and making a scene.

They ate their food and sat in silence for a minute.

"Why are you always acting like that?". She said

"Niggas be plotting to get you". He said

"I don't think in this particular circumstance baby" She said

"Your fine as hell and niggas try all the time I know it". He said

"The niggas at the grocery store, mall, and park." Kevin looked at her upset.

"I don't know if that was exactly what happened". She said

"Damn it Kevin you didn't have to fight them!".

"You're going to get yourself arrested one day or worse!". Elise said

"Baby" Before he could say anything else a woman waiter came over.

Kevin called the waitress a bitch to himself and hoped she was not a lesbian.

Elise rolled her eyes as if she knew what he was thinking.
