Chapter 11 Must Find Her

Joey woke up in the ICU of a private hospital.

It was extremely quiet. The paintings on the wall shook in her vision, and the smell of disinfectant filled her nose. In addition, there was a blurry figure.

Was she still alive?

Joey felt like she was in a dream. When she finally came to herself, she found that the person standing by the bed was Farad.

She opened her mouth, "Farad?" Her throat was dry.

"Joey, you're finally awake!" Farad's voice was hoarse. He frowned, looking tired.

She had been in a coma for a month, and he had been staying with her for a month.

He just wanted her to live. That was his own wish.

When Farad saw Joey struggling to get up from the bed, he was about to cry out.

He was so happy.

He walked over stiffly and helped her sit up. He saw her staring at the bedside table in a daze.

His heart trembled. He was about to speak when Joey said indifferently, "give me a pen. I'll sign it."

On the bedside table was the divorce agreement.

It was sent by Yuri's mother. Farad had repeatedly gone through it several times.

Yuri had signed it. It would take effect once Joey filled her name in.

Farad clenched his teeth. Taking out his pen and giving it to her, he watched her sign the agreement.

"Could you send it to him?" She signed the name without any emotion in her eyes. Three years of marriage broke down at the moment.

She had no more illusions about their marriage. She felt relieved.

After she regained her senses, her memories flooded her mind, making her feel suffocated.

He gave up on her and chose to save Cynthia!

And the last moment, she felt she was pushed by Cynthia.

"Farad, take me away," She was in a daze, tears silently dripping down. It tasted bitter, just as the hatred in her heart.

...

Xin the headquarters of Xing's Group.

Yuri looked at the emails waiting for him to reply, feeling restless.

He wasn't interested in anything if he couldn't find that woman.

It was the thirty-fifth day after Joey disappeared, but there was still no news. Joey seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth. He didn't even know if she was dead or still alive.

She left nothing but the signed divorce agreement, which was now kept by his mother.

"President," His secretary knocked on the door and presented him a document.

About the earthquake five years ago.

Yuri sat up and quickly started to read. When he saw the second page, his pupils suddenly widened. The long-haired girl kneeling on the rubbles trying to save him was actually ... Joey!

He remembered that year Joey had long hair but Cynthia had short hair!

"In the earthquake - the one who saved you was Joey. She dug you out with her bare hands. In the end, she fainted in the aftershock." His secretary told him. He had visited all the major media outlets in the city in the past month.

"Don't tell anyone about it," Yuri held the papers tightly and ordered in a deep voice.

"Sure," He understood. As soon as he returned to the company, he heard the gossip that the sisters from Lin's family fought for the position of Mrs. President. In the end, Joey fell from the rooftop and dead. He had been serving the president for many years. He knew that he shouldn't talk much.

When the secretary left, Yuri closed his eyes, still immersed in shook.

The woman who saved him was Joey!

For so many years, he had actually misunderstood her ...

He must find her. Yuri's eyes were bloodshot as he stood up from the chair, trembling slightly.
