Marriage or Murder

"Please! Maa take her to the hospital. She is bleeding. Please,please take her to the hospital. I'm begging you." Said 15 year old Vyom to his mother who is doing pooja.

"Nothing will happen to her. Why are you crying for her. She is your wife, you have all rights on her. She has to do what you say. You're her god. You did nothing wrong. It's common. Even Me, your dadi, chachi (aunt) all are once in her place. And look we are fine. So don't worry nothing will happen to her." Replied his mother in carefree tone.

But her words didn't provide any comfort to Vyom. He was tensed after seeing 14 year old Meenakshi today's morning in his room. She was bleeding from her lower body. Anyone can say what happened to her just by a glance.

Vyom was feeling guilty. He was feeling like he did a sin. A sin which he committed unintentionally as he didn't know about marriage life, difference between right or wrong. At the age of studying, learning and playing, they are living a life of husband-wife.

His mother's word made him do something which he would not ever did if he didn't see the Meenakshi's condition. He took her to hospital by himself even after getting the opposings of his family members. He gets to know what he did but that is not the end.. but the start.. the start of changes and be free from his family thinking, their rules, values not for himself but for her.. his wife.. the women who will give birth to his children in future and for his children..

Well to say correctly, while writing this book, there was only idea in mind that what will be today's scenario if things like Sati Pratha (system), Child Marriage, Dowry was never existed in our country in first place itself. I know there were many great leaders and social reformers who worked on these issues really hard to abolish them.. But are these things really vanished from our society except Sati System...

Things changed their faces and name just like Dinasours.. Today Dowry became a Gift... So called Gift.. and Child Marriage even now when marriage age is decided... These things really vanished.. No.. How? Let me tell you.. in past children are actually married in childhood.. and in present some parents fixed their children marriage..

I was only thinking that  What these parents want to teach their children? Are they giving/providing real life ethics, values and morals to their children?

If yes, how come there is an acceleration in the crime. Crimes like child abusing, molestation, threats, rape, domestic volience, dowry... You tell coz I don't know which moral and ethics tells about the being right of these things..

But here I want to mention that Always parents and their teachings are not responsible.. sometimes the person himself is also responsible.

But we all listened things like- "he is a male/ boy.. whatever he say and do is always right." Even in marriages we listened, " he's your Pati Parmeshwar or God."

I only want to say.. God is above there.. watching you.. Let the God do their work.. You just focus on being a good HUSBAND who respects his better half and support her.
