Love the little one

Chapter 1

Angel's POV

"ANGEL YOU BETTER WAKE UP RIGHT NOW OR YOU ARE GONNA MISS YOUR FLIGHT!" I woke to my mum yelling at me to wake up. What a nice way to wake up on a Saturday morning, aye?

"RIGHT NOW, ANGEL OR I'M COMING UP AND I WILL THROW A BUCKET OF COLD WATER ON YOU!"

"OKAY, OKAY I'M UP geez..." I looked at the clock on my bedside table and saw that it was six in the morning. Six in the morning? Oh oka-

Wait.

SIX IN THE MORNING? IT WAS SATURDAY WHY WOULD MUM WAKE ME UP AT SIX ON SATURDAY MORNING? Oh right, I'm moving.

Wait, I just realised that I haven't introduced myself yet. Well then. Hi, my name is Angel Peterson. I'm nineteen years old and I stand at the height of 5 feet and 1 inch, lovely isn't it? Anyway I have raven black hair that reaches my waist and a pair of emerald green eyes. I might be short but at least I have curves in all the right places and although my height might be annoying at times, I'm okay with my body. I think some girls in high school weren't content with theirs as they always had tons of makeup on and tight clothes but hey, who am I to judge them.

Well, I gotta get up and get ready because I have a flight to catch.

Me and my parents - Peter and Cindy - live in a small town located in Texas, and today I'm going to fly to New York and live there for a while. I'm going to miss my parents that's for sure but it was my choice to move after all.

I get up and make my way to the bathroom that is attached to my bedroom and do my morning business. I get out and come back to my room to put on the clothes I left out for today. Everything else is already packed. I pull on my favourite black skinny jeans and black boots with no heels. On top I put an olive green T-shirt and a black sweatshirt. You could say that I like the colour black.

I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen where my mum and dad were talking and sipping their coffees.

"Well would you look who finally decided to get up," my mum said jokingly.

"Good morning to you too, mum," I said smiling.

"Morning sweetie."

"Good morning dad," I greeted dad with a smile and a kiss on his cheek.

"Hurry now and eat your breakfast, wouldn't want you to miss your flight now, would we?"

"Mhmmm," I just hummed for a reply with my mouth already full of pancakes mum made.

I finished my breakfast about ten minutes later and put my dishes in the sink.

"I'm gonna go and grab my bags," I shouted as I ran upstairs to get my last bags and my phone. Looking around my room I sighed, knowing I was going to miss it.

I ran downstairs, said goodbye to mum and dad.

"Bye Angel, be sure to call us every few days, okay?" my dad said as he pushed a strand of my long hair behind my elf-ear.

Yes, I'm an elf. Shocker, am I right?

"I will, dad. Bye mum, bye dad."

With a last hug and a kiss I was out of the house. The cab was already packed with my luggage so I went in and started the drive to the airport.
