Chapter 6 She's Dead?

When he returned home, the old man was sitting in a wheelchair, his deep brows showing how angry he was. Beside him stood a man in his fifties with red and swollen eyes and a piece of paper in his hand.

This honest man was Mo Xia's father, Mo Ruhai.

If he didn' t go back to his hometown to recuperate after he got sick, why would he come here?

At the sight of his son-in-law, Mo Ruhai could not help but dodge his gaze. He had always disapproved of Mo Xia marrying into a rich family and marrying a man who did not love her. However, she was focused on this young master. Now, she should have lost her life for their love.

Mo Ruhai had always been wary of this son-in-law, but today, he came to seek an explanation for his daughter. Thinking of this, his back could not help but stiffen.

"You still know how to come back!" The old man was furious when he saw this disobedient grandson.

Mo Xia, such a good girl, was ruined by him. He regretted forcing the two of them to get married.

Xiao Yiru frowned slightly and sat down on the sofa. He asked casually. "She's dead?"

The three words were cold, as if he was talking about someone completely unrelated.

Both of them were dumbfounded, and their anger instantly surged to their heads.

Mo Ruhai, who had never spoken loudly in front of Xiao Yiru, rushed to him and glared at him. "No matter what, young master Xiao, she is also your wife. How can you be so cruel when her death or life is still unknown?"

"She had divorced me before she died, so her death has nothing to do with me." Xiao Yiru snorted and rolled his eyes. If it weren't for the fact that he had saved his grandfather, he wouldn't have bothered to talk nonsense with him.

The old man's cane landed heavily on the ground with a loud bang. He stood up and hit Xiao Yiru heavily on the head with his stick.

"Who told you to spout nonsense!"

Mo Ruhai hurriedly held onto the old man. "Don' t be angry, sit down."

"Xiao Yiru, I' m telling you, if you don' t get her back completely, I guarantee you won' t get anything from my Xiao family!"

"Grandfather, what kind of ecstasy did you get from this father and daughter? ! I didn't tell you what Mo Xia did because I didn't want to make you angry! Now, I will tell you clearly that even if that woman dies, it's because she deserves to it!" Xiao Yiru felt his swollen head and jumped up with shouting.

The old man glared at him, his face already turning purple with anger.

"Do you still remember my first love, Si Ling? When I was with her back then, it was Mo Xia who suddenly came out to stir up trouble and set me and Si Ling up. Si Ling was so angry that she refused to come back even after she left the country! Do you know the pain of losing a loved one? You don' t know, and you' re forcing me to marry this woman!"

The old man sneered. "Do you really think I' m an old fool?"

"If you really knew, you wouldn' t let me marry her!"

"You know nothing! Mo Xia had endured humiliation for you. If it hadn't been because of her, you would have been brought into the ditch already! Where are you going to find such a wife? !" The old man shouted as he tapped on his walking stick, but he couldn' t help but cough heavily due to his short breath.

Mo Ruhai patted him on the back and comforted him. "Old master Xiao, I don' t have any other thoughts right now. I just want to see my daughter alive or dead. I beg you to help me find Mo Xia ..."

Xiao Yiru looked coldly at the two of them and strode over to Mo Ru Hai, pulling away the paper in his hand.
