Chapter 3

CARMEN’S POV

"Cath..." I whined as Catherine force me to follow her. "Shut up Carmen. I want you to send her. That's all I'm asking," I huffed my frustration. "I don't want to send her anywhere Cath!" I accidently yell. Catherine stop dead in her track and turned to face me. Note to self, never, ever make Catherine angry. She's worse than Christina. Christina might be a monster when she's angry, but Catherine is the beast! "Carmen, if you refuse, I'll ask daddy to send you to Aunt Helen range house," Catherine spat with venom, making eye contact. Aunt Helen range house. NO WAY! She's evil! I sighed. "Fine," Catherine smiled with victory. "Good girl," she took my hand and walk again. This is the most awkward position ever. It's like I can't even walk myself while she's holding my hand.

"Larissa," I lifted my head up to see Larissa. She smiled at Catherine bubbly aura and I'm here, bored to death. "Hey Cath," Catherine let go of my hand. "I know you're going to the café later. So, I asked my little sister to send you," I scoff. Catherine slapped my shoulder.

I looked up and gave her a fake smile. "There's no need for that. I can walk," Larissa politely denied our offer. "Heavens no it's too far. Carmen will send. Isn’t that right Carmen?" Catherine glares at me. I nodded forcefully. As if she can sense my unwillingness. "No. That's ok. I can ..." I sighed. "Look! Just let me send you," I cut her off. Before she could say anything I took her hand forcefully. "Be nice Carmen!" Catherine yelled with amusement. Damn sometime I just hate how persuasive she can be.

I can feel everyone eyes on us when we walk the hallway together. I wish I could just be invisible. "So you choose a dyke than me, a real man?" Paul suddenly appeared in front of us. Wait, did he just call me a dyke. This ‘boy’ really starting to get on my last nerve.

LARISSA’S POV

Did I just hear him right? Did he really just call her a dyke? I feel anger boiling inside of me so I know Carmen must be furious right now. I can feel her grip on my hand loosen. I turn to see she's walking towards him. As she starts walking at him, all I could think is how amazing she looks when she is angry. If only looks could kill, Paul might be dead right now. To be honest, it's turning me on. No one is ever this protective with me before. "What did you call me?" she asked, glaring at him. "You heard me, bitch," he spat back at her. She gets right in his face and he doesn't make any effort to back away, instead he just cracking his knuckles. He smirked, but I could see Carmen smirked evilly at him back.

But then with one swift move of her arm, she punches the locker beside them. Not only did she send the bottom part of the locker completely in, she also manage to open a couple of the lockers that supposed to be lock. My heart stopped at the scene. How could she possibly do that without even moving her body? He didn't move. His eyes glue to the dented locker. He was shocked I'm sure of it. The words she said next were filled with venom.

"Next time, I will put that dent in your face, not even plastic surgery could fix your face after I'm done destroying it." Carmen turns her face to me. "Let's go Larissa." I nodded and follow her outside. She pulled her car keys out. I closed the car door and watched her put her keys in the ignition hole. "Next time if he bothers you again, just tell me or my sisters," she simply said and drive to my workplace. We didn't talk the whole drive. It feels too awkward for me. "This is where you work?" she asked when stop in front of the café. "Yes. Thank you for sending me," I said. As I thought she would go home, she just turns off her engine and walked out towards me. I turn to meet her. "What are you doing?" she looked at me puzzled. "I'm hungry and this is a café," she nonchalantly answers me back. Is she serious? She wants to eat at a place where people like me eat? She's a Larove! I sighed and wish for the day to end well for me.

THIRD PERSON POV

Christina and Catherine were leading the cheer practice at the field when one of the jock yells for them. He was breathing heavily when he appeared in front of them. The twins turned their perfect face to face him. "What do you want Arthur?" Christina said without any care. He took a deep breath. "Your sister ...and Paul...at the student lockers...punch...," before he get to finished whatever he was telling, the twins ran towards the school building. They know if their little sister is angry, hell will broke loose. When they arrive, there's no Carmen, just Paul, standing there, looking at the dented locker. Christina looks at her sister handy work. Catherine pulled out her phone and tries to call her little sister. Christina turns her head to Paul.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Christina screamed enough to make all the bystander and Paul flinched from her rage. Paul didn't say anything. Christina was restless. "PAUL BRADLEY!" again Paul flinched, this time he looks at her, with a scared gaze. "I... c-all...her... a...dyke." He said under his breath. But Christina heard him, all too well. Christina slaps him hard. Paul didn't move at all. "If something happen to my sister, I'll make sure your family will know what you have done," Christina spat venomously. Christina turns to her twin sister. "Where is she?" Catherine gave her a soft smile. "She's with Larissa at the café," Christina looks at her watch. "Let's end practice. We meet her at the café," Catherine nodded and walked to the field to tell the other teammates.

Christina turned to Paul. "If you dare to make a scene again, I'll make sure you live in hell forever," the cheerleader warned him. Paul know he just make a mistake by declaring war between the Larove and his family. Christina turns on her heels and walk towards the girl's locker room. While she was changing, the only thing she could think of is how violent her sister can be. She's been through so much for a 16 year old. She feels as if she can't protect her anymore. She love her sister too much it hurt to see her in pain. Catherine enters the locker room and hugs her twin sister. Even though she was born 50 second later than her, she feels as if she's the older one. She's the person who keeps the family together with her bubbly self. She feels Christina begin to relax.

"What should we do Cath? If this keep up, she will be like before," Christina said, finally letting her tears fall. Christina hardly cries. Catherine notice and caressed her sisters back. "I don't know Chris. I truly don't know what to do." They both pulled away and put everything in their bags. "Let's go to the café. I'll drive. I know the way," Catherine said as she took the car keys from her sister. Christina nodded and walk towards their car.
