Zigor Mial’s Point of View

In deep shock, my body trembled and I stepped back a bit, causing the leaves around me to rustle, catching the attention of their Alpha. I saw how his brows furrowed as his eyes automatically pierced to where I am standing.

My heart is pounding so fast and loud, I am very nervous that this pack will attack and bit me. I just a second, I immediately run to the portal and closed it right after. My knees trembled and my body automatically fell down on the bed as I stared blankly at the portal that is now slowly disappearing in front of me.

“What the hell…” I mumbled out of my breath and I did not realize that I am not breathing earlier till I gasped for air!

That is not it right? He is not my cursed one, right? Maybe I am too preoccupied with his insult that my mind brought me to where he is right now. That was it. He will never be my cursed one. The Moon Goddess will never do that to me. I calmed myself and shut my eyes only to see his image on my mind again.

“What the fuck!” I cursed myself as I felt my heart hammering so hard and my tummy churning very wild.

That can’t be! He is not the fated one, I convinced myself a thousand times, refusing what I just saw earlier. I am just probably distracted by that dog, yes, that was it. I swallowed hard and lay my back on the bed, staring at my ceiling before realizing that, at this hour and state of my mind, I can’t go back to sleep nor even take a nap.

Irritated, I stood up and grabbed my robe as I went straight on my bathroom. I changed my pajamas ad wore a board short before wearing the robe. The maids looked all shock to see me walking down on our staircase but I am too pissed to even flirt with them.

“Prince Zigor,” in an instant, Ben is already on my side, stalking me as I graced the hallway going on the backyard of the palace where our huge infinity pool is located. Ben have the glass door open for me and the lights on the pool area were automatically on, giving a different vibe for me, I sat on the sun lounger and stared at the pool for a second, the ripples caused by the small blowing of the wind looks fascinating and out of the blue, a smirked crept on my lips as I turned to Ben.

His face got distorted, a hint that he knows what evil thought are running on my mind right now. It is not really evil though; we will mess this palace up a bit to get me back to my senses.

“What is it, Prince?” he voiced out, the laziness etched on his tone, tired of my spoiled attitude and decisions.

My smirk grew wider as I stood up and did some stretching as I started telling him my plans for tomorrow.

“Invite all my friends for a pool party at five in the evening here,” I said, already imagining myself finding my cursed one. “Tell them to invite their other circle of friends,”

“But Prince, you should inform the Queen and King about this…”

“Yeah, I will, tomorrow, first thing in the morning,” I cut him off and took off the robe before diving in the water. The coldness of the liquid embraces my skin, sending shiver down my spine as I gasped for air and brushed my hair backward.

Ben is looking at me with a disappointed face, I winked at him before finally swimming on the other side of the pool. This infinity pool was built by the engineers of the Kingdom Viasdrio, honestly, they are great engineer and architects with the finest design that is why my Dad contracted them to build all our buildings, even the renovations in our Kingdom are led by them. Since our Kingdom is not really famous for our witchcrafts, the only thing we can trade are our potions, the elves usually have it since they needed it for their herbal medicines.

I am a 22-year-old witch, graduated on the Witch Academy here on Georlia and we are supposed to have the continuous supply of potions and other crafts used with raw materials for creating a new product. It may sound difficult but that is our life. The supplier of other Kingdoms. But our race plays a certain role here, we are the one in-charge of opening portals from the other world, or portals to where they want to go and lastly, our spells are the reason why the boundaries on other Kingdom stood, for example, we have this barrier that we created so that the cells there would not be so easily broken by the criminals and some hideous monster who wants themselves free.

The fresh and cold breeze blew and I shivered before closing my eyes and licking my lower lip, my eyes immediately opened when I felt that someone is looking at me, I darted my gaze on the bushes separating the pool area from the garden area. I knotted my forehead and started walking towards the edge of the pool, pulling myself up so I can walk and see what and who is hiding there. My eyes narrowed when I saw the bush slightly moving and before I knew it, someone already jumped out of it, a big, brown and furry beast running away, its low growl echoing on my ear as the leaves from the bushes flew.

“What the fuck!” I shouted on top of my lungs as my mind tried to process what did I just see. House helps and Butler Ben rushed to me, all panting as they wondered what did happen to me.

“P-Prince?”

“A-A wolf…” I mumbled; the creature’s figure already vanished from my sight but it was clearly etched on my mind.

I swallowed hard and felt my heart thumping so wild as an image of a beast flashed into my mind.

Did he follow me? Did that Alpha followed me all the way through here? I don’t know.
