Arina had been eagerly anticipating this day, perhaps even with a hint of regret. So much time had passed; it felt like she had just met her husband yesterday. Thirty years together, through happiness and financial struggles, yet the most important thing was that they were still together, and nothing could tear them apart. She knew that Voldemar was planning a surprise for their anniversary. But that would be tomorrow; today, she had work to do, a visit to the hairdresser, and a trip to the massage salon. And, not insignificantly, she needed to buy a new dress for the long-awaited event.
