The other man

"Who's the young man from last night?" I slightly turned my gazed at him. He was eating normally as if we're a happy family. I stayed silent. "Aren't you gonna answer my question?" His tone was became serious but too bad, I don't care. "No plans at all, I see." I heard him sighed as he trying to control his temper.

I didn't finish my breakfast in annoyance. I lost my appetite. I stood up and wore my side bag. before I even got out, he suddenly spoke.

"How long are we going to be like this, my child?" I suddenly stopped as soon as I heard what he said.

"What if for a lifetime?" I replied mockingly. I immediately walked out from hell.

Crest Woods University was quietly peaceful when I arrived but suddenly someone intercept my way. It was Harvey. I sighed as I stared at him blankly. He smiled at me as if he knows something about. My forehead creased with confusion.

"What do you want?" I asked him in a bored toned. He just smirked at me as he whispered something in my ears. I saw Lewis suddenly from the distance. My eyes widened and suddenly pushed Harvey away.

"Hey!" Harvey said in annoyance and looked at Lewis who's going to us. Harvey suddenly put his arm around my shoulder and smirked like an idiot to Lewis. If I was just another person, I would probably laughed at Lewis' face. Harvey won by using me to annoy Lewis. Before I realized it, Lewis removed Harvey's arm on me.

"Stop hitting on my girl, Harvey. Go fuck yourself, you dumb fuck!" I was surprised by his words. He was really annoyed on him.. or jealous?

"Chill, I'm not hitting on your gal. I'm just being friendly, right Lea?" I just stared at him blankly. "Damn! You're weird. You sure, you really like this girl?" I avoided their gazes and just looked around.

"Y-Yeah.." I was startled by his responses. Stupid, do they really think that I will believe what they say? Tsk.

For the second time, I walked out from them and go directly to my classroom. I feel relieved to know that I was early, but all of my thoughts about having a peaceful day are suddenly vanished because of the two men. They were seated in with most of my classes even on my break time, they're still following me like fools.

I was pretty annoyed and can't even focus on everything that I was doing because of them. Seriously, aren't they students too?

"Mr. Everett and Mr. Walton? What are you two doing in Miss Blythe's class? Your professors reported to me that you two were skipping classes! In my office, now!" It was Principal Lowell who suddenly shown up in my class. All of my classmates are started to laughed and mocked them while Lewis frowned and Harvey was pouting like a kid. I shook my head in stressed as I watched them leaving my classroom.

It's like I was babysitting them, babysitting some idiots. Their mothers probably not love them. Edna immediately transferred to Lewis' seat. She whispered, mocking me.

"Why Eleanor Blythe suddenly became a slut? hitting on two guys aren't healthy." I ignored her. As expected, she was annoyed by me to not replying to her dramas.

As our class ended, I saw the two fools human being outside of our classroom. Both of them smiles like they wasn't scolded by the principal. If I were them, I'll be careful on my actions as graduating student.

It was almost evening and here we are look like fools as we walked down to streets just to accompanied me home. At first, I don't like the idea about getting home with them. Not cool, my father will totally freak out. We're blocks away from my house so I decided to stopped and confronted them.

"Off limits." I coldly said, stopping them from going to my house. Who am I kidding? I just don't want them to know that I'm from middle only. I learned from Edna that they're both filthy rich. As much as they wanted to argued with me, we suddenly heard a familiar voice from my behind.

"Young men needs to go to my house first before they leave this Village." I sighed in defeated as I glared at them badly.

"So, what's your name? what do you do, young men?" Dad asked as he stared at them while sitting in our couch.

I was chill while drinking cold water by looking at them. They both started arguing about who's going to answer first. Dad felt frustrated by looking at them and decided to stop them by choosing Lewis first. Lewis fixed himself first before answering Dad's questions.

"I'm Lewis Everett Sir, I'm a top graduating student at Crest Woods University." Lewis smiled genuinely as Harvey suddenly spoke.

"I'm Harvey Walton Sir, at your service!" Harvey said and he winked at Dad. Lewis and I was shocked when Dad suddenly laughed by Harvey's jokes.

At the end, Dad invited them for dinner. Harvey was entertaining Dad by his jokes that my Father totally buying it. Lewis frowned ever since then.

"Does your Dad really likes corny jokes?" Lewis asked as he helped me preparing for dinner. I laughed a little as I placed the plate on the table. All done. I turned my gazed at him. he was still frowning and annoyed on Harvey.

"Yeah, we just don't talk too much. Maybe he's longing for a son to talk with." I casually replied as he fell silent. I felt his stares at me so I looked at him too. He was almost shocked. He didn't know what to react or what to say. I smiled a bit. "It's alright. I'm just not a type of person who's bubbly and showy." I explained.

"I can do that for you." He said as he smiled widely. I chuckled as I shook my head in amazement.

You're making me fall slowly for you, warm guy.
