Renowned, famous battle

It was already afternoon and finally, break time for us to eat. I walked to the school ground and even passed by the wide field. The two guys caught my attention as I saw them fought in the field and surrounded by students and even the janitors. I even heard them betting on the two men.

I stopped and stared at them from my place. I think I know the other guy, It was Harvey, the one from my other class. I can't help but to stared at the another guy who suddenly turned his gazed at me. It felt weird to have eye contact with him, It's like we already did such a thing. Familiarity, I guess. Maybe I already saw him before from somewhere that I couldn't remember.

I immediately avoided his gazes and just continued to walked to Cafeteria. When I got there, I bought some lunch and sat at one of the unoccupied tables. I used to be a lonely ever since but all of a sudden there's someone who named Edna sat across me. She started eating as if nothing happened. I looked at her with confusion. She just laughed when she noticed that I didn't eat my food.

"Chill Lea, I felt lonely. I'd rather to sit with a stranger than to be alone. So don't make fuss about it." I sighed as I started to ate my lunch. Well, this is awkward. I've never shared table with someone before. We ate our food in peace, I'm a bit surprised because she's not a type of person who can be quiet for long. Maybe because it's me.

It was quiet and peaceful when someone suddenly came into Cafeteria. Our gazes met but I avoided it right away.

"You know him?" Edna suddenly spoke up. I stayed silent. She looked at me with the mixed of surprised and confusion as if I was the most stupid human she knows in the city of Crest Woods. "That guy is one of the hottest in this university, you dumbass!" And you're one of the annoying human in this whole city. "He's not only hottie but also smart too, but he likes getting into troubles. His name is Lewis Everett by the way." I sighed, running out of patience to this annoying human.

"You talk too much, Edna." I said in a bored tone. She just rolled her eyes but all of a sudden she looked at me with a full of surprised. "What?" I asked in annoyance.

"You talk! You shitty! I thought you're a dumb!" She said, almost shouting in surprised. Now, I decided not to talk to her in this lifetime.

"Too loud, ladies." We look at him simultaneously. He was the one who Edna's referring about. The one who made eye contact with me. He seems irritated about Edna being loud. He even pointed out his ears.

"L-Lewis.. Oh my God! I'm sorry!" Edna exclaimed nervously. I wanted to laugh but I decided to not to. I just smirked at her though. What a situation for her to get into.

"It's alright." I heard him replied while laughing but I could feel his stares at me. I suddenly remembered his name Lewis. It sounds familiar as if I already heard it before. What's the meaning of his name? I'm having a kind of habit about getting the meaning of names that I encounter. "Renowned, famous battle." I slightly turned my head to look at him, our gazes met as I stared at him with confusion. He suddenly smiled.

"That's the meaning of my name."

I couldn't sleep and it was already midnight for pete's sake. That guy's image keeps flashing in my mind; his smiles, the way he looked at me with his amber eyes, his golden brown that makes him to be attractive even more.

I wore my black hoodie and put my earphones on, I still can't sleep so I just decided to go out in the middle of the night. I walked in the street until I saw a near convenience store. When I came in, there's no customer except to the guy who's sitting on one of the vacant seats here inside, he looks like sleeping because his head was bowed down in the table. I envy him for sleeping so easily.

I bought frozen yogurt and sat down beside him. I started to eat the frozen yogurt while staring outside. It's cold but this guy beside me, I could feel his warmth. He's a lucky bastard to be warm in this kind of city who doesn't have summer. It's like we're at the top of the mountain, well literally.

I know it's pretty weird to eat a frozen yogurt, knowing that this is already a cold place. I just love cold things just like what I always feel about myself. An hour had passed and this guy is unbelievable, still asleep and all. It's a relief that this convenience store was twenty-four hours open.

For the first time in my life, I felt frustrated to this guy. He shouldn't just sleep in everywhere he wants to. It's dangerous even if he's a guy. We'll never know. I wanted to leave but something was holding me back to. I was annoyed but I stayed beside him. This is annoying. I continued staring outside revealing the dark sky with the beautiful moon. My forehead creased as I suddenly noticed that it was still full moon again. What the. I slowly turned my gazed at the guy beside me. I'm a bit shock when he's already awake and staring at me like an idiot. Smiling like a fool.

"What is your thinking? What's in your head?" He asked as if he really wants to know what's on my mind. He's still smiling while continued to staring at me with amazement. Stupid, you don't do that to strangers. "Why'd you stay? Are you worried about me?" And now he's smirking. "But the most questions that I wanted to ask you is.." He looked directly into my eyes as I only gave him nothing but a cold stare.

"Who are you?"
