Full Moon

Full Moon

It was full moon and yet here I am sitting with him in a big rock. Cold wind rushes into my skin, but I felt nothing, as if I was already used to it. I Look at him slightly, He was busy looking in the dark sky during the course of the moon. It was amazing view of mine, I guess.

"What's your name?" He suddenly asked when his head turned to look at me. He smiled like it was the first time he saw me. I feel nervous all of a sudden. This warm guy is driving me crazy. He always giving me chills. I sighed.

"Eleanor." I answered while staring at him, waiting for his reaction. He smile widely as he turned his head again to look up in the sky as if he's remembering my name which was the most beautiful name he heard in his life. It might be delusional to think like that but his actions speaks louder than his words.

"Bright, shining one." He said as he stared into my eyes once again. My forehead twitched because of what he said.

"What?" I asked with astonishment. He chuckled as he poking me on my forehead gently. I suddenly felt annoyed.

"It is the meaning of your name, stupid. Didn't your mother told you that?" He jokingly said but I didn't laugh. His forehead suddenly creased wondering about my reactions. Like none. "What? No sense of humor, eh?" He asked.

"My mother died while giving birth to me." I replied coldly. He frowned and murmured something then looked at me again with a smile.

"Sorry Eleanor, it was disrespectful of mine to ask you like that. I just grinned. People always feel pity for me every time they hear something like that. It was really nothing to me, I didn't even got a chance to meet her, so I didn't feel any pain for her death. She planned to left us anyways.

Silence embraced us because of awkwardness. I never felt it before and not even familiar with it. I used to feel nothing. I barely know him, I didn't even know his name, I just see him on hallways of our school and that's all until we ended up being here together, sitting like a fool while staring up in the full moon as if there was a show. But one thing is for sure, He always make me feel that I'm not the person that I knew. It's impossible to believed but that's what I'm feeling when he's around. I need to know who really is he. What is he up to. Tsk! Now, I think too much because of him.

"Let me ask you then." I said casually as if nothing happened. He just nodded at me and smile again. Is he not getting tired to smile? It was annoying. I'm not comfortable for him to do that. He's totally a weirdo. "You asked my name. What's yours?" He suddenly smirks as I suddenly saw something from his eyes.

"I'm Lewis, nice meeting you my lady."

I suddenly woke up and immediately smashed my alarm clock in annoyance. I stood up and stretch my body as I turned my head to look at my window, the sun is starting to rise up so I closed my window to avoid the heat from sunlight. It might burn my skin. I'm being stagy sometimes but who cares.

I cleaned myself up and go down to see my Dad who's already eating breakfast. I winced. I sat opposite him and starts to eat as if it was a normal day for us. Even though, we're not actually normal.

"You're going to school, my child?" He asked when I grabbed my backpack and worn it.

"Yeah, trying to be a normal kid like you always wanted me to be." His forehead creased as if I said something wrong, even if it's not. Tsk.

"You are a normal kid, Lea. So try to be like one." He said, trying not to be angry. I sighed as I turned my back on him.

It was a boring day for me, but a normal day for them. It's just that school is not for me. We're not meant for each other. So why force myself to this kind of stuff. To be a human? Meh. I'm still not convince for my Dad's bullshits. Definitely nonsense.

Too bad, it was a long day. I have to endure five subjects today until I only got one subject left. As much as I want to skip, I just don't. How messy am I?

"Lea, you coming tonight?" I turned my gaze to look at some of my classmates who named Milton. I automatically shook my head as an answer. He looks awful after being sad at me for not coming to his party. He's a good buddy though, but I'm not a fan of parties. It's out of my league after all.

It was already evening when my last class ended. What a relief. I walked on the street while staring up in the dark sky while listening to my ipod. It was full moon. I suddenly stop as I stared at the full moon as if I remembered something. The guy from my dream, my forehead creased as I tried to remember his name.

"Was it Louis?"
