THAT night, it became so hard for Daniel to fall asleep. Ara's beautiful face is still in his mind. Even the way she blushed when he winked and smiled at her. With last thought, the young man was unable to stop himself from smiling. 
He even has this kind of feeling that he cannot wait for the next day to come and go to school. He wants to see her and formally introduce himself to her in any way that he could do. 
Well, he knows that Jason could actually be the key to his problem. But they are not close aside from the fact that he just met him a while ago since it's the first day of school for the first semester. 
Does he really have to befriend Jason for him to be close to Ara? 
That was when Daniel shook his head and get up from his bed. 
He never experienced this because of a woman before until Ara. What is happening to him? 
Is this because of his belief that it seems like destiny is making its own way for them to get closer to each other? Or because of Ara's beautiful face and--- 
That was when he felt a little bit annoyed and decided to go out of his room and proceeded to the veranda. And it seems like fate is making a big joke on him or really trying to irritate him when he caught with his sight a familiar blonde hair. Most especially her fine and graceful walk. 

 
Ara... 

 
Daniel whispered in the wind as he smiles broadly. Now there was an answer to the only question that was left to him. And that answer strengthens his belief that he really needs to make a way to know Ara personally. 
This time Ara is with what he thinks is her parents and her little brother who actually clings to the young lady's hand. Daniel smiled again because of that. 
It looks like Ara is like his sister Danica. Kind and loving sister to her young sibling. That is the reason why his desire to know her more intensifies. 
Daniel did not move and remained to gaze at Ara's now distant figure, the woman who is actually the reason why he is having a hard time sleeping tonight. He wanted to hate himself but he cannot do that because he actually has a reason why he is acting so differently. 
The young man then decided to go back to bed only to get up again after a few minutes to go to the kitchen and make a glass of milk. He just returned to his bedroom when the door opposite his opened. It was her sister Danica. 
"Can't sleep again?" she asked him chuckling. 
Daniel nodded. "But I had a glass of milk already, maybe after a few minutes I might be able to sleep already," he said chuckling too. 
"Maybe you should stop overthinking, you really will have a hard time catching sleep if your mind is too busy," Danica advised him. 
Daniel's eyebrows met because of that. "How did you that my mind is busy?" he asked unable to control himself from laughing again. 
Danica shrugged her shoulders. "That is the common reason why someone is having a hard time sleeping," she replied before turning her back from him. 
The young man just followed his sister with his gaze as she continued to the kitchen. He then closed the door of his room to sleep. 
What his sister told him is actually true. His brain is very busy which is why he is having a hard time sleeping. 
But how will he be able to force himself not to think of anything if his mind keeps on doing so? And if that is what happens, his heart is undeniably happy. 
Once again, Daniel laughs weakly. 
Maybe he is out of his mind already. 
He is a man and he is acting like this. 
He can feel what others call romantic excitement and he just can't help but smile every time he thinks of Ara. 
After how many months since Lilet broke up with him, it seems like it's just now that his world has real vitality and color and he wants that. He wanted this feeling.

ARA is lying on her bed when she remembered the man she had seen earlier in the corridor of the Engineering Department. 
He would have been handsome if he hadn't just winked at her that eventually annoyed her. 
At the last thought that the young lady could not stop the thrill that she felt so it seemed as if she is not in her own sense of self when she hugged a pillow then let out a weak giggle. 
"Annoying man, but in fairness, very handsome," she whispered then once again suppressed the light chuckle that passes her throat. 
As she said earlier the young man was a mestizo although she doesn't know his name. 
He has round dark eyes with thick long lashes at perfect eyebrows. His hair was also quite long and it looked like black grass that crawled down the back of the young man's neck.  Kissable red lips that even if you say smiled mischievously at her a while ago, she could not help but wonder how it feels like to be kissed by those?  
He is also tall and has a good physique. She thinks that her height of five feet and six inches will just pass a little over the man's shoulder. 
It would have been okay if he hadn't just winked at her and had a mischievous smile on his face. That is why the thrill that she has was suddenly replaced by the intense annoyance she was feeling earlier. Did she become too obvious that is he just acted like that? 
At the last she thought, Ara, seemed unwilling to accept that to herself. 

Oh how arrogant, does he seems to have noticed that I was magnetized by his handsome face?
 
It was then that Ara felt the intense blush of both her cheeks. And that only intensified when she remembered how mischievous that the man wink and smiled at her.  
How the corner of his lips rose and even the glow of amusement in his beautiful eyes, she will never forget. And that is why she cannot sleep right now. 
 

I think that man bewitched me that is why I am having a hard time sleeping right now! He's a flirt! I don't want to see him again!

Ara secretly laughed to herself at what she said. 
She knew that what she is thinking is impossible. 
She is a student assistant and the library is one of the most visited places by the students at the university. That is why it is very impossible that they never see each other again? Especially and it looks like Jason is still his classmate who is her friend. 
Ara bit her lower lip at the reality she realized. She would admit that she wanted to ask Jason earlier what the man's name was but she was too shy to do so. She does not want her friend to think that she has a crush on his classmate even if that is the truth. 

Oh no!
 
Her mind refused but that is the truth. She has a crush on that guy whether she admits it or not for she cannot fool herself about what she truly feels. 

No, he is not my crush and what I feel now will sooner or later be gone! I don't like him! He is too arrogant and flirty!
 
 

With the strong denial of her mind even the truth, she feels that her heart is crying out differently.
