Celeste isn't your average 17-year-old girl. In fact, Celeste isn't even human. Taken in by a family friend after her mother's murder, she moves across the country to restart her life. When Celeste learns the truth of who and what she is, she's determined to keep it a secret. Even from her ever-persistent next-door neighbors, who also happen to be the town's notorious playboys.

As time goes on and the boys grow closer to her heart, Celeste worries she will lose them forever one way or another. She fears they will learn the truth and leave, or that they will be her very demise.

But what happens when Celeste finds out the boys aren't who they say they are either?

Her secret could destroy them all.

Demons:
An evil spirit or devil, especially one thought to possess a person or act as a tormentor in hell.

Angel: 
An angel is a celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth. Angelic beings are usually benevolent in nature, considered to manifest the qualities of goodness, purity, and selflessness.

Hellhound:
A demon in the form of a dog; mangled black fur, glowing red eyes, super strength/speed, and ghostly or phantom characteristics.

Archangels:
An angel of high rank. 
Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel, Raguel, and Barachiel.

Demon of Death:
Often referred to as the "Grim Reaper". Demon who invite humans toward death.

Nephalem:
The direct offspring of angels and demons, with the potential to be even greater than both.

Nephilim:
A race of beings who are half-human and half-angel.

Demi-demons:
A race of beings who are half-human and half-demon.
