Leo is busy at work. He tried to accomplish everything before he went back home before but now he just took them with him.

There is a boy needed to be taken care of at home.

It is troublesome to be honest.

But if Liam is not something he cherished now, he wouldn't really care too much.

"Daddy!"

Leo smiles seeing the boy run to hug him.

Liam is no longer shy at Leo. He kisses his cheek.

"Daddy, welcome home."

"I'm back. Are you good at home?"

Liam smiles.

"The teacher praised me. My handwriting is pretty." He said and showed Leo his messy handwriting.

Liam is grinning.

He knows his father will not say it is pretty but he wants him to see that he is really someone without much knowledge. Slowly he will help himself shine.

Even if it is just to pass the exam. And not let his father be disappointed.

Leo felt heartache when he saw the messy handwriting.

He rubs Liam's head and kisses his forehead.

"You have to practice more so you will write prettier next time."

Leo said slowly but precisely.

Liam is a bit startled.

He slowly smiles and nods.

'It was really changed! He even called such crap as pretty!'

His heart is warm.

"Daddy, I will take your coat."

"Oh." Leo gave him his coat and Liam hugged it and put it on the empty chair in the dining area.

Leo slowly walks following him.

While eating, Leo asked him about his day.

Leo found out that he's only been studying all day.

"Let's change your schedule. You should play around too." Leo said.

"What's wrong?" Leo asks.

"Shouldn't I just study? Because I am already not smart. If I don't study…."

Leo rubs his head.

"It's important to learn but it is important to play. You are already 10 years old. Just a little more chance to play around. I hope you can spend your childhood more outgoing."

Leo said slowly to make sure Liam can follow him.

Liam is shocked.

This is really his father?

The same father who told him to stop playing and just focus on learning?

Liam nods.

"But I don't want to always play. I want to learn more." He said to make sure that his father won't find him easy going.

He wants to appeal as the dedicated son who always prioritized studies so even if he is not the smartest, he won't think of him as a disgrace.

Leo smiles.

"Well, I will listen to your wishes."

Liam sneaks a peek at Leo.

Leo smiles catching him in the act.

"Do you have other arrangements?"

"Play….Playing...Will father play with me?"

Leo became silent.

Liam panics.

"It's fine. You are busy. It's nothing."

Leo sighs.

"Why are you flustered? I am just thinking about something. Of course I will go and play with you. But you also know that Dad is busy so I can't always be there. But as much as I can, I will come and play."

Liam eyes pop open

He gazed at Leo.

He went down the chair and ran to hug him.

"Thank you Dad."

Leo is amused at Liam's reaction.

He rubs his head patiently and slowly.

"Liam, I am your father. These things are just normal for me to do. You do not need to always say thank you."

Liam shakes his head.

"Daddy, I will always be thankful to you. You are very kind to me. You give me so many things and you care for me. I can't do anything much but I hope to be someone you can be proud of."

Leo is shaken. He felt stuffy inside and there was a warm feeling inside.

He already feels proud of his son for just being sensible.

There is no need for more.

But he won't say it.

He can't spoil his son. What if he grows up as a crook?

He maintains his smile on his face.

Leo understands the pride of a parent.

He, for the first time, feels appreciative toward those b*stards that schemed him.

Since he took Liam back. He started being concerned about his other child.

But seeing the report, she is not in immediate danger or not being abused.

If she was, he would take him in immediately. He doesn't want another incident like Liam's life repeating to his child.

But the child under her mother is still alright and just a bit attention seeker because of negligence of attention from her mother.

He already contacted the mother and told her he will take her daughter after a year.

Liam just found a father and he wants to rely on him.

If he suddenly brings another child and sees her as someone superior, what will be the consequences?

Worst, they will try to fight each other.

Liam is not stupid but he knows almost nothing.

"If you are happy then we will go."

Liam nods.

He is grinning.

A maid comes closer and tells Leo the time.

Hand over a glass of milk and give it to Liam.

"Let's sleep." Leo said.

Liam has been sleeping in Leo's room for the past week.

It was unimaginable in his past life.

But now he is enjoying it like it's normal.

Somehow Liam doesn't want to grow.

Once he grows taller, appropriate for his height, he won't be able to sleep with his father.

Liam hatefully refused to drink milk but Leo will get mad if he doesn't listen.
