Leo never thought a night would come that he would be conflicted in sending away a boy who sent himself to his door.

"Are you afraid?" Leo asks patiently at the boy dragging his pillow staring up at him.

"No." Liam said.

"Then go back and sleep. It's already late and children who don't sleep will not grow taller." Leo said.

Liam sneakily looks up at him then lower his head.

"Can I sleep with Daddy?"

"You are already big."

Leo has a headache.

If this is someone else's child he will mercilessly scold him and send him away.

But this is his son he pampered this past few days. Which heart could he use to scold him when he is not asking unreasonably?

"Daddy, I won't pee in your bed. I will be quiet. I won't move or breathe loud. I just want to sleep near you. Even if it's just tonight?"

His back feels so lonely.

"Wait."

Liam paused and his heart felt excited.

He turned around.

"Give daddy a kiss before you go."

Liam doesn't know he looks dejected.

But it was seen by Leo perfectly.

In his heart, there is a silent laugh for this young boy.

Liam fixed his attitude and smiled.

He walks to Leo and kisses his cheek.

When he realized that he is no longer a child he blushed.

Leo thinks he is cute and pinched his nose.

"Come." He said and turned around.

Leo opened the door wider.

Liam is shocked and looks at Leo.

Leo smiles.

"Just for tonight, okay?"

Liam happily nods his head.

"For tonight." He happily walks in.

The room is spacious and big.

The bed is wide.

But in his past life, not even a shadow of this room was exposed to his eyes.

He felt choked as he looked carefully at all the corners of this room.

Leo watches his son walk at all sides patting things as if leaving his mark at his territory.

He finds it funny so he just sits on the bed and watches his son's silly antics.

Liam is not tired looking around.

He wanted to savor this one of a lifetime chance.

This is something his half sister, the novel's main lead, enjoys as her privilege.

Something unobtainable for the not so cute half brother like him.

"Liam, it's late." Leo softly called.

Liam perks his ears and looks at his father who lazily smiles at him.

He pats the bed when their eyes meet.

"Come and sleep with dad."

Leo has never coaxed anyone before but he knows how to sweet talk women,it is not that different when doing it with a kid except you can't be flirty.

Liam was a bit reluctant.

He doesn't want to stop looking around. If he has a phone he would take a picture of every corner.

What if he forgot what it looks like inside this room?

Liam's reluctance stunned Leo.

"What's wrong? I thought you wanted to sleep with Daddy?"

"Can I go to bed after I look more around?"

"What's to look at? It's just a room."

He walks and scoops the young boy in his arms and carries him to the bed.

Leo tucked him under the blanket and pat his body.

"You are so cunning. Praising this room like that. Don't you just want me to promise you another night here?" Leo is grinning.

He shakes his head not wanting to be misunderstood.

"Oh? You don't want to?"

Liam flinched.

He slowly raised his eyes and stared at his father.

"I….can?"

Leo grins and rubs his head.

"Do you want to?"

Liam hurriedly nods so fast that he felt dizzy after.

Leo grins and kisses his forehead.

"Okay. I will allow it. Now let's sleep."

"Good night father."

"Good night son."

Leo pulls him a bit closer and Liam puts his hand on his father's arm.

Leo knows he won't be able to sleep well.

The boy's body is so hot.

But it was actually opposite.

He feels asleep as he listens to Liam's calm breathing.

Liam wakes up in a daze.

He is still in this unfamiliar bedroom.

His heart skips a beat.

He can't believe it.

He happily rolls in the bed in his excitement.

"You are that happy?" Leo grins.

Liam flinched and slowly raised his head.

"Daddy!" He happily jumps off the bed and hugs him.

"Good morning Daddy."

"Good morning son."

Leo rubs his head.

He just came back from jogging so he is sweaty and doesn't want his son to think he is stinky.

But the guy plasters himself on his waist and he can't refuse this sweet boy.

"You have to go back to your room, wash your face and brush your teeth. Then come down with Daddy to eat breakfast."

"Okay." Liam cheerfully answered.
