Liam looks at Leo.

Leo stares at him.

"Liam, I am your father."

Liam nods.

He tilts his head.

"Yes. That's what you said, Daddy."

Leo's lips twitch.

'He accepted it so readily?'

"From now on, We will be together."

Liam nods.

"Okay."

'That's it?' Leo's heart is not calm.

"Aren't you going to ask me?"

Liam looks at him.

"Ask?"

Leo was choked with Liam's confused look.

"Ask me...Like...Why am I not with you when you are small? Who I am and where I've been?"

-isn't it normal to be confused?

Liam is not curious because he already knows who he was and mostly what he needed to know.

He is not deliberately pretending he doesn't know.

"My name is Leo Carson. I can't explain much about my relationship with your mother since you are too young to understand right now. But you should know that from now on...I will take good care of you."

"Will you hold my hands when we walk? Carry me in your arms? Buy me balloons and play with me?" Liam asks innocently but inside he is laughing.

'Will the big boss say yes to appease me? It's so funny.'

Leo's brow twitch.

"Hold hands, I can….Carry you...Well, Sure. Buy balloons, okay."

Liam looks startled, shocked and bewildered.

'Who are you? Are you really my Daddy?'

Leo smiles.

"What? You don't believe me?"

Liam nods his head slowly.

Then he flinched and realized what he did and shaked his head.

Leo smiles at him.

Liam looks down dazzled by his father's smile.

"Don't be shy. If I can give it to you, I will give it to you."

Liam's eyes dilated.

He sneaks a peak at Leo's expression.

'This is not what happened before. You never cared about me. Why are you so caring now?'

The change in Leo's heart is because his father instinct was instantly born after Leo experienced Liam's limp body devoid of life and strength.

It really shocked his well being and core.

After four days, Liam is already back to his usual self. He can walk and go to the bathroom without assistance.

Leo also wanted to discharge him out of the hospital.

Hospitals are not a good place to stay for a long time.

Hospital acquired illness might be more dangerous than his previous case.

Besides, the Carson mansion is better than any hospital.

There is a very wide grassy plain where he can walk and play around.

The air is fresh and there are more people to play with him.

Xion happily deals with the discharge papers.

Since they take Liam out of his Uncle's barn, Leo's been a full hands on dad.

Leo spends more time at the hospital than his office. Isn't it the best proof that he favors his son?

Liam is a very small boy and skinny.

Liam grabs his hand tightly.

"I want a room next to my father's room." He said seriously.

Leo looks at him and smiles.

"Your room is near the stairs."

"Is it far from father's room?"

"It's not."

"I can't sleep next to father's room?" He is 10 years old but very small. He looks like a 7 years old only. He can still act like this.

The room next to Leo is his half sister's room.

He doesn't like that room but he wants to be the person who will be nearer from Leo in this life.

Leo smiles and rubs his head.

"That room is not as big as the one near the stairs. Later, what would you say if you realized it is smaller?"

Leo asks, teasing him.

"Next to father, I don't mind if it's as big as a box."

Leo pinched his cheeks.

"You learn how to sweet talk."

Leo looks at the maid.

"Clean the room next to mine."

"Yes sir."

The maid hurriedly called three more maid to hasten the cleaning. It is not really dirty but since it will be the room of their young master, it should be thoroughly clean.

Liam's eyes dilated.

'So easy?'

His request is easily done like that?

Even his half sister begs Leo more and looks aggrieved before he allows her to stay there.

Liam feels warm inside.

It seems his father is really sincere with his attitude toward him.

"Are you that happy?" Leo's smiles.

Liam nods.

"Yes. I really want to be the one next to daddy."

"Good."

Leo laughs.
