Case 1: The Young Lady's Assassination

3 A.M.

A knock on the door can be heard, breaking the silence inside the office. There was a zip sound of closing the zipper of the jacket, followed by the sliding of clothes when the person inside slightly moved. The curls of the waist-long hair ran along a slim back. The backpack lying on the sofa was picked up by a fair and smooth hand, the long fingers has no sign of the fingernails colored. The crisp sound of high-heeled shoes echoing in the living room and faded until the door was slowly opened.

"Mio-chan!" A stunning, gorgeous woman called, glee in her beautiful face. She smiled when she saw Suzuki Mio and Aria outside. The girls are wearing their PE uniform, anxiety is painted on their face like yesterday when they first came in this doorstep. "Hm? What's wrong?" the woman asked when she saw their expression.

The two girls turned and their jaw dropped when they saw the woman standing by the door, looking at them with concern in her peach blossom eyes that’s now misty.

"What?" the woman asked, her voice sweet and matured, making your ears itch and scratch your heart upon hearing it. She saw the girls were stunned speechless.

“Wh – “ Suzuki Mio said, her face in between pale in horror and red in embarrassment. This woman is too godly of a beauty I’m afraid of being in the same frame as her! But also embarrassed just being looked at by her!

Aria’s eyes are as wide as the saucers as she looked at the woman who’s now confused of their actions. “Wh-who are you?!” she asked, shocked by the impact of the goddess’ beauty. “Where is the owner of this house – company? Are… are you his lover?” she asked, shy and nervous. What a lucky bastard that guy is for having this girl! She thought, mad of the injustice for the beauty for having a trash of a lover.

The woman’s beautiful curved brows knitted. “What are you talking about?” she asked, then paused as if realizing. She looked at the two girls, then her red full lips curved in a smile that can bewitch the devil. “I am who you’re looking for.” She said… in a male voice.

A loud crack can be heard as the two poor innocent naïve young girls stared stunned at the woman… man in front of them, beautifully dressed like a woman. They stoned on spot, and cracks can be seen in their stoned figures.

What if the meaning of life? They both bitterly thought. The culprit just laughed in a sweet melodious voice of a young woman… even if he’s a man. “Let’s go?” she (he) asked as she (he) brightly smiled at the two, the light can illuminate the whole universe.

But cannot shed even a fraction on the two girls’ heart that just now broken and their eyes that’s now darkened (figuratively).

She… he takes his job too seriously we were fooled!

Inside the car.

“Young Miss Hare?!” the guards exclaimed, shocked when they saw the female cousin of their younger miss Mio walking with Suzuki Mio and Aria.

“Yeah~!” I answered and smiled sweetly at the guards as I led the two still broken girls inside the backseat of the car.

“But… how - ?” the guards said, confused as they looked at her then the CAST office.

“Oh~” I said and smiled meaningfully as I held the door of the car. I side glanced at the CAST office, then glanced at the bodyguards. “Mio asked for the respected company’s owner to call me back to the country through his means since Uncle was still mad at me thus he cannot call me. You know of Uncle’s pride, right?” I said and winked at them.

“Y-yes…” they answered and nodded, blushing furiously. It’s been so long since the Young Miss went here, but she became more beautiful. They thought as they closed the door of the car when ‘Suzuki Hare’ went inside.

Then they drove the car towards the school.

Flashback

“The school will be having an activity in 8th Beach Resort the day after tomorrow. We will assemble in school. From there, the students will take the bus while the parents and guardians will be travelling to the resort on their own.” Suzuki Mio explained. “The school activities will start at 1 PM. At night, we will have a test of courage on the uninhabited and unknown island near the resort.” She said, her face grave. “The school didn’t say anything about that night activity, so…” her voice trailed off, shaking.

Flashback end

I sighed as I turn away my sight from outside the window and looked at the two crestfallen girls who somehow now recovered. I then looked at the driver and the other guard who’s sitting on the front seat beside the driver. The other guards are on the other car following behind us.

I looked at the side view mirror and saw my face. No… Suzuki Hare’s face. If not Suzuki Mio pressed that her cousin is real, I’d say I created a person out of this disguise. Suzuki Hare’s face is beautiful, but she can be imitated – thus Suzuki Mio gave me this disguise. However, how she can be the original is because of her charm. That strong and dependable woman, the elder sister type. Both her parents were unfortunate to have passed away from assassination. Her younger brother is under the care of her uncle – Suzuki Mio’s dad. Thus, to make her brother safe she studied martial arts under a Chinese master and only comes back during the holidays or has important matters to deal in her home country. Her younger brother is fortunate for being deeply hidden by Suzuki Masamune and so the 14-year old child is still living peacefully as his elder sister becomes stronger in the other country. And Suzuki Mio said this is what she respects her female cousin the most.

This role is hard to perform. But since the young princess promised to pay the ‘gender role’ bonus and ‘skills’ bonus, then guess we won’t have any problem in the future.

By 4 A.M., they finally reached the Seiken Academy – school for the elites.
