CHAPTER 3

RAY: PRINCESSA

Her heartbeat flown into him but the taste of her soft strawberry marshmallow lips made him want more, ‘What’s on your mind Caramella princessa?’ He asked with a smirk.

‘We just met and you’re kissing me,’ Caramella answered.

Ray chuckled and brushed his lips against hers and muttered, ‘You don’t like it?

‘I didn’t say that don’t words in my mouth, Ray,’ Caramella smiled.

Ray smirked, ‘What kind of words should I put in it then?

‘Why haven’t you gotten my number?’ Caramella asked with smile and kissed his nose.

Ray laughed and leant his forehead against hers, ‘I think I’m falling for you.

‘You can’t like me that fast?’ Caramella smirked.

Ray kissed her neck as she moan lightly with laughter, ‘Why can’t I?

‘Because we just met Ray,’ Caramella smiled and pushed him away.

Ray laughter shivered through her entire body like his lips as he added, ‘That’s why I’m getting to know you Caramella’ and pulled her in closer to his chest, ‘I wish we could stay like this forever.

‘Maybe in your dreams,’ Caramella teased laughing.

Ray leant over her body on the bench and smirked, ‘With you underneath me like this of course’ and trickled as she cried from laughter.

‘You’re such a pervert Ray. Get off me I have to go,’ Caramella smiled and then she felt his ticklish fingers stop. Staring into his eyes she notices their lips were inches apart from mooching. She realised he was about to kiss her again until her phone rang; she pushed him off as he fell on the ground and groan. She saw it was father calling.

‘Ouch! You have to be so rough princessa,’ Ray told her.

Caramella helped him up and apologised, ‘I’m so sorry but I really have to go Ray’ about to leave.

He got up quickly, ‘Wait! Take my number.

‘Okay what’s it?’ She said. He told her the digits as she registered it in contact list and then sent a miss call to his phone. ‘Call me anytime you want see you next time,’ she continued and hugged before running off. Coming back to the present she smiled at the memory of them. Caramella blushed as she looked at the ceiling waving her legs in the air as she muttered, ‘Good for nothing memories I need ease them from my life! I need ease Ray from my life!’ Leaping off the bed she phoned for friends again while she entered her walk-in closet which was connected to a separate untraceable room fill with weapons and snacks that led to an underground vault. She grabbed her white bulletproof suit, beret, heels, firearms, blades and wallet throwing them onto the mattress the constant ringing stop as Sandra and Amelia answered.

‘Caramella we’re here!’ they said over the background music, Maroon 5: Sugar.

‘Did you call your parents?’ Sandra asked.

‘Yeah, they’re fine. Mom said that they sent a surprise for me. It will be arriving in three days time,’ Caramella answered.

‘You think they sent you a store bought husband to make Ray jealous,’ Amelia quipped.

‘I hope not I can’t deal with guys anymore. I’m fed up with love,’ Caramella frowned.

‘Don’t say that you just haven’t met the right guy yet Caramella. It took me five years to meet the love of my life Andrew,’ Sandra replied.

‘You were lucky Sandra,’ Caramella responded plainly.

‘She was,’ Amelia added. ‘Clara you of all persons know finding the one in the crowd is always a struggle. But I have faith you’ll be seeing your Mr. Right very soon.

‘Listen to her Caramella. Amelia’s predictions are always right,’ Sandra encouraged.

Caramella grabbed her phone and towel before she answered, ‘Alright’ and then thought, ‘It would be miracle if it actually happens’ taking the shampoo and soap bag headed into the master bathroom and place in the upper shelf. ‘How was the slumber party with the girls and their moms?

‘Exhausting……you need to rescue us,’ Amelia emphasized with lazy dragging voice.

Caramella laughed, ‘Seriously? You’re still coming to visit me with them?

‘Of course we made a promise to the girls,’ Sandra replied.

Amelia added, ‘One day of royalty at Caramella’s Palace, they had a total flip out.

‘That’s nice to hear. How are my nieces doing in the girl’s football team?’ Caramella asked.

‘Abigail and Sam have improved a lot lately. They can’t wait to have their one on one session with you,’ Sandra beamed.

‘Can’t wait to see them I miss my fairy god-nieces,’ Caramella joked.

‘They’ll turn you into Cinderella and we’ll be your fairy god-besties, who stirs you in the direction of your prince,’ Amelia quipped with a chuckle.

‘I would love to see that,’ Caramella giggled and turned on the shower.

‘We got your massive party invite,’ Sandra added.

‘Are you really going to let loose because of Ray,’ Amelia teased.

‘Why not? We’re not together anymore I can do whatever I want,’ Caramella shrugged.

‘He’s scumbag cheater, Amelia,’ Sandra told her. ‘I would do the same just to show him what his is missing out on,’ she said and these words were exactly Caramella’s intentions.

‘I agreed. It’s what I intend to do girls starting fresh in the public’s eye as single woman,’ Caramella admitted.

‘You mean Ray’s eyes,’ Amelia pointed out as Sandra laughed.

‘Make him jealous Caramella. You deserve better than that idiot?’ Sandra added.

‘Yeah and what better way to do it than party hard straight for three days,’ Caramella smirked stepped into the shower.

‘If Ray shows up at the event give him a piece of your mind Caramella,’ Amelia said.

‘He wouldn’t dare do that. Our break up was pretty clear,’ Caramella told her.

‘If he does don’t be afraid to punch him in the face and don’t cave into his seduction,’ Sandra warned.

‘Thanks for the advice girls I’ll keep that in mind,’ Caramella answered.

‘You’re going somewhere?’ Amelia asked because she heard the water pouring.

‘An award ceremony for Santa Rosa’s Parisian staff,’ Caramella replied. ‘Mum and Dad sent me here on their behalf to award them for their service to our business. I never thought I would have stayed in Paris so long if it wasn’t for this ceremony.

‘I’m glad they sent you plus you’re living in a palace. Who else would they have called to represent them? Your siblings are managing the hotels and resorts branches in other countries,’ Sandra said.

‘Yeah….That makes sense,’ Caramella told her.

‘Beside that how’s your writing coming along for The Ball’s last series?’ Amelia asked, since she was the main actress in The Ball: a famous princess movie series written and directed by Caramella who’s a top film maker in the world.

Caramella soaped herself, shampooed her hair while Katy Perry: Last Friday Night played as she sighed, ‘I have no idea…I haven’t written a thing for the script. I’m still thinking.

‘Why don’t you base The Ball last series on your life? Don’t you remember the ending from the second movie? Claire Huston is left alone in her Uncle’s old mansion she has no family around until she meets a handsome stranger who claims that her uncle sold the mansion to him and arrange marriage her with him? He shows her the deed to the house and the arrangement letter before she faints at the doorway falling into his arms…..’ Amelia trailed off.

‘I remember Amelia,’ Caramella admitted.

‘Why don’t you twist the story with your nightmare about the ghost soccer player you have been seeing at the football field everytime it rains at night,’ Sandra reminded.

Caramella felt goosebumps covered her skin as her eyes burgled out, ‘What? I can’t do that it’s a romance story not a thriller and mystery fiction. But I haven’t seen that ghost around since three days ago.

‘No wonder your parents didn’t want to stay there by yourself? That football field is haunted and you know it, Clara,’ Amelia said.

‘Only at rainy nights but no one has tried to break in this place while I’m here,’ Caramella said.

‘You sure don’t remember anything from the night you approach the ghost soccer player?’ Sandra asked.

‘What are you talking about? I never went out there at night,’ Caramella replied.

‘You were drank and weepy when I called you. We talked about Ray cheating on you with Lena, who’s such a donkey and then you told me you’re going to confront that soccer ghost of yours,’ Amelia said.

Caramella answered, ‘Seriously? No wonder I woke up with hangover, puffy cheeks and a running nose next morning. But the rest is history to me.

‘I can’t believe this,’ Sandra laughed heartily.

‘You have such a weak immune system,’ Amelia pointed out.

Caramella rolled her eyes, ‘Blame me for being such a tipsy baby’ and she dried off herself wrapping body and hair in her towels.

‘To imagine the ghost soccer player isn’t a ghost but your one true love, prince charming with the football,’ Sandra joked.

‘Yeah right, I did run for the hills if that happens,’ Caramella added and changed into her clothes and styled her hair into a neat bun.

‘He’ll be chasing you with a missing soccer shoe a.k.a the glass slipper hoping it will fit,’ Amelia joked.

‘Will you girls stop with the fantasies? I’m going to be late,’ Caramella laughed and grabbed her phone, firearm since she had a license for it and ran out the door.

‘We won’t stop your life is our entertainment,’ Sandra quipped with a laugh.

‘Well thank you for your compliment, Sandra,’ Caramella smiled.

‘Have a great time at the ceremony, Caramella,’ Amelia added.

‘Don’t drink too much you know you’re the paparazzi play toy already,’ Sandra warned.

‘Sandra I won’t make a scene so don’t worry about it,’ Caramella assured exiting the tall double doors and boarded her vehicle starting the engine before driving out of the large gates into the city.

‘Okay have fun, sweetie,’ Sandra replied.

‘I will bye,’ Caramella answered as her best friends bided goodbye before ending the call.
