                   Kira's pov

I sighed deeply and walked back to where I'm coming from.

I'd get to see this man tomorrow evening and thank him.

I walked back to the ward and sat down beside my children.

"Are you still going to eat? Or you're not hungry" I asked Ryan.

"I don't have appetite to eat mom." He answered, weakly.

I nodded.

My phone rang from my pocket and I removed it, staring at the number then I gulped before picking it.

"Hello ma" I know what's gonna happen next.

"You idiot! How can just leave the restaurant like that after doing so much damages. Do you know how much that champagne alone cost?" 

The owner of the restaurant where I was working shouted.

I was expecting that.

"You're going to pay for it. First, you've lost your job and your salary will cover half of the damages and get ready to pay the balance soon cause I won't let you rest until you pay my what you owe me." She flared up and ended the call.

   Gosh! I'm just happy and sad at the same time cause my salary for this month is gone and I will still have to pay the remaining one left.

And also, I got another job. It's a good thing I accepted the job.

     "Mom, who's that?" Ryan asked.

"Don't worry about that. I made someone angry. All you need to do is to rest. The man who got you hit will be coming tomorrow evening" I stated.

"Okay." He yawned and I knew immediately that he wants to sleep.

I smiled and caress his hair gently.

"Sleep well, baby" I whispered.

After putting Ryan to sleep. I took Rhian with me even if she's still sleeping. I had to carry her to avoid waking her up. I also took the food couldn't eat.

  I went to the restaurant Immediately, just to see my woman who owns the restaurant.

  "Ma, I'm very sorry for the damages. I promise to pay back." I said to her but she just eyed me.

I sighed and left her office.

I boarded a cab home and sighted the landlord at my house. It's a good thing I saw him from afar.

  Gosh! I haven't paid my house rent for six months now and he's been threatening me to either leave this place or I pay his money.

But I can't leave cause finding a house isn't that easy.

I hid at a corner, watching him stand in front of the door. Obviously, waiting for me.

He began pacing around, meaning he's getting impatient but who cares.

I want him to leave before entering in there.

     "Finally!" I breathed out when I saw him leave in anger.

When I saw that he was completely away from here, I came out of hiding and entered my house then locked it.

     I placed Rhian on her bed and left the room.

I changed into something simple and walked to the kitchen to start cooking dinner.

     "Mummy, can I help?" Rhian's voice made me flinched.

I almost poured hot oil on my body.

"You got me scared, Rhian." I placed my hand on my chest and breathed in and out.

"I'm sorry." She quickly apologized.

"It's okay, you can come and help me. Just take these tomatoes and squeeze the hell out of it." I gavs her a bowl containing five tomatoes.

She nodded happily and giggled as the tomato splashed on her face when she squeezed the first one.

"It's fun, mommy!" She giggled again.

"Yeah. We need to go see your brother tomorrow. He will be getting discharged."

"So, you will be the only one I will be taking to school tomorrow."

"Mom, only me? Just hope those silly classmates I have won't say anything silly. Cause I will beat their soul out of their body." She smirked and squeezed the last tomato 

    "Don't fight, Rhian or look for trouble" I said, sternly.

"Okay, mom"

We had dinner and packed another food For Ryan and left the house to the hospital.

We'd be sleeping there. Then, tomorrow morning, I go home with Rhian and get her ready for school.

   I would have leave Ryan alone here but I can't.

I'm his mother and he needs me by his side. I need to be with him.

And I don't trust anyone here. They could hurt my child.

   Ryan was able to eat dinner then took his drug prescribed by the doctor and gulped it down with water.

I put sleeping Rhian beside her brother while I sleep on the chair.

Next day,

 I slept for long that it was Rhian who woke me up, saying she doesn't wanna go to school. Instead, he'd stay with Rhian.

    Thank God, no nightmares today.

     The doctor came checked Ryan and told me he's doing well.

I rushed home to take my batb, changed into a blue gown and took some clothes and a small cream in a tube for my kids.

I bathed the twins in the hospital, creamed their and wore them their clothes.

    Throughout the day, all I did was watch my children, go home to cook breakfast and lunch.

I was about to go back home and cook dinner when a nurse came in and told me the man is around.

I immediately got up and told Ryan and Rhian to stay put in the ward.

   I followed the nurse and saw a man with blonde hair and he was backing me.

I cleared my throat, facing down and said,

"Good evening, sir" I greeted.

I saw his feet turned to my direction.

The silence was awkward. 

Wait! Why am I not looking at him?

I gently raised my head up and I immediately wished the land could open and swallow me.

Tears gathered In my eyes and I tried to fight them back but they eventually fell.

The monster!

The bastard!

It's him!

Really him!

He waa staring at me shocked to see me. He moved forward and I could tell tears too were about to fall from his own eyes.

"Ki...Kira" He called my name but that made me burst into tears the more.

He's here again. To come rape me.

No, he was the one who hit my child. 

He came close and made attempt to touch me but I gave him three dirty slaps across his face.

His eyes brought out tears.

"I'm sorry." He said and I slapped him again.

No, slap isn't even enough for what he did to me.

It isn't.

  This monster here made me go through he'll and he dare show up his face to me?

"Sorry can't cover all what you did to me back then. It can't." I replied.

He ruined my life. He ruined everything about me.

     He repeated his action by moving towards me again but I stepped back.

He wants to rape me again.

He wants to destroy my life once more.

"I will never forgive you, Daniel" I whimpered.

"For what you did to me. I will never forgive you."

I ran away, to my where my children is. I heard footsteps behind and I knew he was following me.

"Kira, please wait! I'm sorry. Hear me out. I'm begging you" I heard him.

I feel like killing him right now. But I'm not a monster like him.

The doctor was already in the ward with a paper in her hand.

"Sighed this ma'am. Your son will be discharged now." 

I quickly took the paper and a pen then signed on it.

I carried Ryan and took Rhian by hand.

Daniel entered and saw what I was doing. His tears were dropping freely on his face.

"Kira..." I cut him off.

"Don't say a word!" I shouted with tears.

"Daniel, I begged you. I did everything I could so you could stop. I cried to you. I pleaded wit you. 

But you still did it. In front of everyone. Everyone watched. You laughed at me. You called me names. And you think I will forgive you, never." I cried and scurried out of the ward with my children.

He wanted to stop me but I gave him a glare.

"Mommy, that's the man that gave us money the other day." Rhian spoke as well passed the reception.

"Don't say anything now. Mom's in a bad mood." I replied her.

I went through hell because of him. Everything is because of him. My son being here is because of him.

Just him! Why am I so unfortunate?
