Chapter Sixteen

“Wait, stop,” I told Xander.

“Why?” he looked up at me confused.

“I think I heard something.

“I think you’re getting paranoid.

“I’m not paranoid.

“This is a big house. You were not this on edge in the apartment. Not everyone is going to hear.

“I swear I heard something.

“Is it about my parents?

“What?” I looked at him distractedly. “No, no, it’s not that.

He looked at me like he didn’t believe a single word I said.

I heard a creek from where the door was and I moved off of Xander and landed sitting next to him, pulling the cover over my breast.

“Daddy,” a sleepy little voice came from the dark crack in the door.

I gave Xander a knowing look.

He ignored it, grabbed some pants and went to see what was going on.

I did say that it didn’t bother me that his parents were in the house, but since his father caught us mid-coitus, I can’t say that I haven’t been on edge. I think it’s going to be a good thing when we have our own place.

I decided to put on some PJs just to be safe, and then I lied down on the mattress. I was trying to wait for Xander, but my eyes were tired and I elected to rest them for a bit.

The mattress dipped and I woke up confused.

“What?” I mumbled.

“Were you sleeping already?

“Mmh, no, no.

“I’ve been away no more than fifteen minutes,” Xander noticed a little annoyed.

“I wasn’t sleeping,” I said in a voice that was clearly betraying the fact that I had been.

“Are you too sleepy?” he asked wrapping his arm around my waist.

“For what?” I asked confused.

“I guess you are then,” he said dejected and rolled on his back.

Things clicked in my head, and I suddenly felt stupid.

“Sorry ‘bé, I’m awake now, we can return to our night-time activities.

He turned his head my way, trying to gage if I would fall asleep on him mid-action, or something like that. So I circled my arms around his neck and started kissing him.

His mood brightened rapidly and he rolled me on my back. He noticed my clothing and frustratingly took it out of the way. I noticed he had taken care of his pants before returning to bed, so I used the access and slipped a hand lower. That really cheered his mood.

I guess I had kind of killed the mood—though, arguably, having a kid walking in on us was far more an effective mood killer than me, but I guess falling asleep before things had time to get really freaky, wasn’t that much better—so to make him forgive me, I rolled him on his back, and kissed his mouth, then his jaw, and his collarbone, and chest, and belly, and I kept going down.

His eyes were burning into me and I enjoyed seeing him lose control for a bit there.

I kept going for a while, taking my time, enjoying every moan he couldn’t contain, and then I went to resume my original position, only he had other ideas. Before I was properly seated, he flipped us around and took control of the situation back into his own hands. Quite literally. Which I enjoyed, a lot.

We kissed, our tongues dancing. He placed himself in between my thighs and I heard the creek again.

We both froze.

“Daddy,” said the same little voice.

Xander got up and grabbed his pants, putting them on quickly. I rolled under the covers.

“What is it, Pumkin?” asked Xander as he got to the door.

He stayed there for a while, then came to the side table, picked up his phone, turned the flashlight on to look around.

“Is everything okay?” I asked him.

He looked around in the room, and the corridor, then he left.

I waited.

This time, I had been a lot more keyed up and I didn’t fall asleep. I guess it would have been a little insulting for him if I did. I prompt my head up just to be sure I wouldn’t.

Xander came back a minute later and put his phone on the desk, then sat on the side of the bed. I thought he was about to take his pants off again, but he didn’t move for a few seconds.

“Are you okay?” I asked him.

“You heard Eloim, right?

“Yes, twice. What was wrong.

“He wasn’t there. He was in his bed, asleep.

“Just now?

“Yeah. That’s weird.

I looked at the now closed door.

It creaked open.

Xander took his phone out and lit the door.

There was nothing. No one either.

“I’ll have to check this doorhandle tomorrow, and maybe oil the hinges.

I nodded.

He put his phone back on the side table, took his pants off in one smooth motion and flipped me back down beneath him. It took us little time to get back where we left off and he slowly slipped inside me. I could feel the pressure all the way to my spine, I wrapped my arms around his neck and we kissed as we began to move slowly. Our breaths were growing heavy, and our movements slowly accelerated.

I was getting really close, so close. He was too, I could feel it.

“Daddy.

This time the voice game right next to our head.

We both jumped out of our skin and looked up.

There was a small dark silhouette next to the bed.

We scrambled to cover ourselves, and Xander turned a lamp on.

Eloim was standing there with his eyes closed. Is he sleepwalking?

The door, I noticed hadn’t been closed again after it last opened on its own.

Was that what had been going on the previous time? Eloim sleepwalked in and out? It could explain how Xander found him asleep in his bed.

Now that he had pants on, again, he walked around the bed to his son who was standing on my side. We had been so busy that we never realised he was in the room to begin with.

I felt really uncomfortable about this.

I’m pretty sure that he’s too young for sex education at the moment.

Xander examined him, and Eloim didn’t stir. He eventually took him in his arms, clearly worried, and went to put him to bed.
