“ Hello, who’s this? “ I answered my phone, I’m currently cooking for our lunch and I’m really busy.

“ Hello Madam, this is from the Ferrer Hospital , are you a relative of Mr Zaizen Cendo? “ the lady from the other line asked.

My brows knotted in curiosity and worry.

“ Yes, he is my brother what about him? “ I answered and closed the stove for the meantime.

“ He’s currently in the emergency room, he was hit by a car , we need you to proceed here madam , we need your assistance about your brother’s condition “ she calmly said that makes me so anxious.

I felt how my body suddenly weakened because of the sudden news. My mind became blank and I can’t even process every word she say.

“ H-how is he? Damn is he alright? What is the exact address of the hospital? I-am on my way, please do everything for my brother-- “ I said while my hands are shaking with fear for my brother.

The nurse gave me the address and I immediately grab my pouch and quickly go to the hospital without even caring of how I look.

I’m at the verge of crying , a lot of things are running inside my head. How’s Zaizen? Who hit him? How did it happen? He should be in the school right now! I need money , where should I get money?

When I arrived at the hospital , I immediately look for the emergency room , the nurses and other people I encounter looks at me with curiosity in their eyes but I care less about what they think of me, all that I think right now is Zaizen.

“ Ms Shannah Cendo? Please calm down, our doctors are currently reviving your brother, we’re doing everything in our power to make his condition stable “ the nurse suddenly approached me and make me sit at the nearest chair near the emergency room.

I combed my hair frustratingly, damn how did this happen? My hands are still shaking with nervousness and I can’t stop my tears from falling anymore.

I tried to dial Deni’s number but he’s out of reach, fuck it! Where are you? I need you now , shit. I can’t tell this to Papa , he’ll surely have a heart attack if he ever know this.

“ The patient’s breathing is now stable , Doctor “ one of the nurses informed me that makes me let out a sigh of relief.

“ Thanks god. We’ll be monitoring his condition for now . Is his family outside? I’ll talk to them “ I said while staring at the teenage boy’s face.

“ Yes Doctor “ another nurse answered and I just gave them a simple nod and walked towards the door. The boy should stay here at the ICU for monitoring, his breathing is already stable and we manage to revive him but we can’t still be sure that he’ll recover. Since his head is very damage, there’s a big possibility that he’ll end up in coma.

I was shocked when a familiar gorgeous face came into my view.

“ Is he okay now Doc? Is my brother alright? Can I see him? “ Shannah asked with tears in her eyes. Damn, she look so weak and vulnerable right now.

“ A-answer me please “ she said at me begging while i notice how her eyes dilated and her lips pouted because she’s trying to stop from crying.

As I came into my senses and finally realized that my patient is Shannah’s brother, I removed my facemask and i noticed how her eyes dilated even more because of shock.

“ A-abcd-- “ she gasped while looking at me.

I cleared my throat before speaking.

“ H-he’s stable for now. But because of the severe injury of his head ,a part of his brain was damaged that may cause for him to end up in comatose. We’re still monitoring him though and we hope that he’ll gain consciousness but if not, i-im sorry but we- “ I stopped talking when I noticed how her eyes teared up again and her lips quivered for suppressing herself from crying.

“ w-what? “ she asked me while looking directly at my eyes. I immediately looked away, damn don’t look at me with those eyes Shannah, I can’t stand seeing that sadness in your fiery eyes.

“ H-he’ll be in coma or worst, his body w-won’t m-make it “ I can feel my heart almost breaking after saying that. Just the mere fact that Shannah’s in a great pain right now makes me weak.

Yeah, honestly, I wished that I’ll be able to meet her again but i never want it this way.

“ Y-you mean he might d-die? “ Shannah’s voice broke, I look at her and I almost hug her cause she looks so vulnerable right now.

“ I hate to say this but yes, there is a possibility that- Oh fuck Shannah! “ I cursed when she suddenly fainted. Luckily i was able to catch her. She might be so tired and shock. Sorry, I’ll do everything I can to save your brother.

While I’m still holding Shannah, one male nurse approached me to help me carry her but I refused, Shannah looks so vulnerable right now and she’s just wearing a sleeveless shirt and shorts, there’s no way I’ll let other man touch her. I brought her to my private room and let her rest for a moment. I decided to buy some food for Shannah, so I left her for a while.

As I was walking near the street, I noticed a familiar presence . Tsk, him again? This man keeps on spying at me and I’m starting get annoyed. I smirked when I saw a corner wherein people don’t usually notice. I walk towards there calmly and wait for that man to follow me. As soon as I felt his presence I immediately stand up straight and fixed my posture.

“ What do you want? “ I said.

A sarcastic laugh came out from his mouth as he makes himself seen.

“ As I expected from a Ferrer. Guess your Papa trained you well “ he said while pointing a gun at me.

I looked at him carefully, from his stance and then into his eyes. A devilishly smirk formed into my lips as I realized something very amusing.

His stance is not that stable, his feet are on the wrong positions and the way he holds his gun is definitely wrong. I can easily tell that he’s someone I’ll be able to kill in just a snap.

“ I guess your boss don’t want me dead huh? To think that you’re the one that he sent “ I said as I relaxed my body. This man is just a mere rabbit for a dangerous fox like me. He won’t stand any chance.

“ What do you mean? I killed a lot of people, don’t be so full of yourself” He said gripping the gun more tightly with an evident anger towards me.

I let out a chuckle and pointed my gun towards him too,

“ Who sent you? “ I ask seriously

“ I won’t tell you “ he answered and immediately moved to shoot me.

I easily dodge his attack and quickly take my move to get near him and bend my body to dodge one of his punches. When I’m in the nearest point I immediately moved my one arm to hit his nape forcefully that earned a grunt from him.

“ Fuck! “ he muttered but I didn’t let him recover after that blow and I hold his head and hit it with my leg with so much force. I can almost hear his bones broke because of the impact.

When his body hit the ground , almost unconscious, I kick his stomach three times until he vomits blood.

“ S-spare me “ he said begging for me to stop.

“ Nah, “ I answered shortly and shoot him in his head two times to make sure he won’t live.

I picked up my phone from my pocket and dialed someone while looking at a CCTV camera from the other street.

“ Hello Senri? I need you here to clean up some mess , there’s a CCTV from across the street, silence them up. Yeah thanks, I’ll leave my phone here, Track me up “ I said and ended up the call.

While still looking at the camera, I picked up Shannah’s food and smiled widely while making a shh sign . I mouthed “ Be quiet or else i’ll kill you “ pertaining to the CCTV operators.

I guess Shannah’s already awake for now. She’s definitely hungry and her luscious lips might be pouting right now, and with that thought, I smiled again, this time I can say it’s pure and sincere.
