SHANNAH

I look around trying to find some way out of this freaking huge place. This place is freaking big! I can’t even find my way out. I’m really taking care of my movements so that no one would notice me and so far I think I’m doing good.

I almost shrieked when someone taps my back, I immediately look at it and found a little boy who’s busy licking his lollipop. He’s smiling at me but he’s very creepy. I’m having goosebumps while staring at him.

“ H-hi “ I managed to say. Easy Shannah, he’s just a kid. Nothing to worry about.

“ I don’t remember that Hannah has a twin? “ he ask still smiling at me.

“ Ahmm -- “ I don’t know what to say but he suddenly cut me off.

“ You’re an impostor? I guess not, I can easily tell if someone had undergone any surgeries, you look normal and --“ he said eyeing me intensely but I cut him off

“ Y-yeah I’m not an impostor-- “ I wasn’t able to finish my words when he suddenly glared at me.

“ Who gave you the permission to talk while I’m still talking? “ he said coldly, the smiling kid was now gone and as if was turned into a scary weird one.

I can’t move my lips.

“ Who brought you here? “ he ask me with so much authority in his voice.

“ A-abcd “ I managed to say.

He looks at me from head to toe and smirked.

“ Stand up straight, your posture shouts weakness it’s making me thrilled. Look at me with fiery eyes lady cause innocent looks from people makes me want to hurt them “ he said and bites his lollipop making a crack sound.

I immediately stand up straight and at least managed to masked up my emotions.

“ Hhmm good girl, by the way you said Kuya ( Filipino Term for older brother ) brought you here, then why aren’t you with him right now? Are you saying the truth? “ he eyed me suspiciously.

“ O-of course “ I said and awkwardly pats his head , I almost shrieked when he suddenly pulled a gun and point it at me.

“ W-woaah! “

“ Tss you’re losing your cool again. Didn’t I told you that never show me how weak you are? You’re making me want to hurt you and I really hate hurting girls “ He said shaking his head as if getting frustrated about me.

“ Leslie! Put that gun down now! “ I immediately looked at the direction of the voice and saw Abcd together with his twin , both holding a gun and is pointed directly at the little boy.

“ W-what are you doing? “ I worriedly asked them, how dare them point a gun at a kid! what the hell is happening, I’m definitely losing myself now!

“ Oh, so you really brought her here. I thought she’s somewhat a spy “ the little boy chuckled and bring his gun down.

I don’t really know why but a sudden rush of relief flowed through my veins after I heard what he said. Geez what kind of family is this?

But I shrieked when the little boy suddenly shoots his gun towards Abcd’s direction.

“ By the way, welcome home Kuya, where’s my lollipops? “ he said and with that I finally lost my consciousness.

“ So, tell me how you ended up in that situation? “ Yanny asked me while trying really hard to stop from laughing. It’s been two days since we sent Shannah home.

I give her a smug look and pouted my lips in embarrassment.

“ Eh? You won’t answer me Kyle? Hahaha “ she finally burst out in laughter that just earned an annoyed groan from me.

“ Jesus Yanny, stop teasing me! “ I said as she continue laughing at my foolishness.

“ Tss, what did you told her? “ I ask pertaining to Shannah.

“ Well, she’s a very nice girl-- “ she laughed at me when I gave her another smug look.

“ What? She’s really nice! “ She said defending Shannah.

Geez, can’t blame Yanny though, she’s not the one who was violently treated by that girl.

“ So back on what I am saying, I told her the truth, well not the netire truth cause I’m pretty sure she’ll freak out-- “

“ Of course she’ll freak out! God Yanny, what exactly did you said to her? “ I said as I walk forth and back while combing my hair.

“ Lol, she already freaked out earlier after Uwyx shot you, what do you expect me to tell her? It’s just a simple game you siblings do everyday? She’s a wise girl, I know that she already has a hint about our real identities and I am fucking sure that she already knows that telling a single thing about us will bring her into danger. She’s wise you see? Just like Hannah “ Yanny explained as if we are just in a very simple situation.

“ Arrghh, Leslie just shut up okay? We don’t kill without a valid reason “ I frustratingly said while eyeing my little brother .

“ Duh, she knew something she shouldn’t know in the first place, for me it’s a valid reason. We can kill her now, you do it Kuya you know how I hate hurting girls. Make sure to cut her head quick so she won’t suffer that much- “

“ Goddamn it Uwyx Leslie! Fucking shut up “ I shouted at him . He just look at me emotinless and shrugged off his shoulder.

“ Well, not my problem after all “ He stated and give a simple wink at Yanny and walks out from the room.

“ Gosh, sometimes I still can’t believe that Uwyx’s just 12. “ Yanny blurted out with a shrug.

“ Tss, better go check Abcdef in the office “ I said and walks towards the stairs .

“ hmm? Is it really Abcdef or Hannah? “

I shaked my head when I heard Yanny’s teasing voice. That girl! I wonder how my twin brother manage to handle her, they are just the exact opposite of each other.

When I arrived at our company, each employee greeted me which I exchanged with a simple smile. When i finally reached the floor of my brother’s office I stand up straight and fixed up my hair. Damn, i’m sure Hannah’s here.

“ Good day Sir Abcd “ her soft voice welcomed me as soon as she noticed my presence. Damn that soothing voice, it’s so soft and calm and so lady-like, unlike Shannah’s loud and dominating tone.

“ Good day too Hannah, how are you? “ I asked her and sit at the chair infront of her table.

She looked at me softly just like what she always does.

“ I’m fine sir, how about you? Do you want a cup of coffee, tea or juice? “

As usual, she’s still so professional when it comes into talking to me. A sudden stab of an invisible knife caused a great pain throughout my system.

I forced a smile and speak to her “ You didn’t told me you have a twin sister “

I noticed how her eyes widened in shock and her cheeks turning pinkish.

“ ahhm, I’m sorry sir. I j-just thought you wouldn’t need to know about that “ she shyly answered.

“ I met her actually “ I stated , suddenly the pain I felt just a while ago because of Hannah vanished because of my memories about Shannah’s weirdness.

“ Really Sir? I bet she-- “

“ She cursed at me actually and punched me because I thought you’re her . She’s an amazona for real! She walks like a dude and she’s definitely your opposite geezz “ I said cutting her statement.

My eyebrows knotted in confusion when suddenly Hannah smiled at me so brightly while amusement is dancing in her eyes.

“ I’m glad that you’re happy to met her sir “ she said with so much sincerity.

“ Yes I’m happy to met-- oh not really, I like girls that is feminine in their every action “ I said contradicting myself

I pursed my lips when I heard Hannah chuckled still with that amusement in her eyes.

“ Shannah’s very amazing sir, she’s one of my inspirations in life it makes me sad that I can’t do anything to help her cause I have my own family to tend their needs, it’s just so sad that we need to part ways so that we’ll be able to be adopted back then “ Hannah said lovingly.

Unconsciously I smiled at the thought of Shannah being so strong and independent. She is indeed an amazing woman, though she’s so stubborn, not that feminine, amazona and a cursing machine. But she’s undeniably gorgeous, from her fiery eyes down to her luscious red lips and her sexy figure, I can’t help but reminisce the moment when I finally got the chance to taste her sweet lips and--

“ Ehem, Sir? Are you alright? You’re spacing out “ Hannah’s words makes me came back into my senses.

Fuck it! How can I lust over her when I’m in front of her twin?

“ Ahh, i-it’s nothing Hannah. I gotta go, bye “ I bid my goodbyes to her and hurriedly entered my twin’s office room.

“ That’s quite fast, you just talked with Hannah for 5 minutes today unlike the other days that you’ll pester her for more than an hour just by merely staring at her without blinking “ Abcdef stated still focused with his laptop.

“ Eh? Seriously? I’m really like that every time I’ll visit you? “ I asked wide eyed.

“ Correction, every time you visit her. You always use my name as an excuse for you to talk to her, this is the first time that you actually entered my office “

“ Geez, that’s creepy “ I blurted out.

Abcdef just gave me a ‘ are you serious ‘ look and continued his business with his laptop.

“ You don’t have a duty in the hospital? “ he suddenly asked.

“ Oh shoot! I forgot! Gotta go “ I said and literally run towards the elevator.

As I arrived at the hospital, a lot of nurses had greeted me and some doctors too. I’ve been out for days and they might miss my handsome face here.

“ Dr Ferrer! It’s nice to see you here again, I heard you’ve been out of the country? “ one of my co-doctors asked me.

“ Ah yeah, “ I answered shortly. Maybe that’s the reason my brother told the hospital when I and Shannah got stranded. I continued walking and entered my station.

“ Emergency! Is there any surgeon available at this moment? A teenage boy was hit by a car, please proceed immediately at the operating room “ the intercom in the room caught my attention.

I shrugged off my shoulder and push the button then speak.

“ Dr Ferrer speaking, I’m on my way “ then I hurriedly run towards the operating room.

Time to focus.
